The production of the Condeep platforms started in Jåttåvågen in 1973 and is for many the epitome of oil operations in the North Sea.
Today, The Leaning Tower still stands as a symbol of an era. A 60 metre high reminder of innovation and dedication. It was built to test techniques within concrete laying, and proved that it would be possible to make the grand Condeep Troll. With a height of 472 metres, Troll was one of the tallest structures in the world when it was
built in 1995. Still, it is the biggest man made construction that has been moved on the face of the earth.
This was the last Condeep built in Jåttåvågen. In 1998, the Stavanger municipality decided that the area should become a new urban district, with houses, industry and services, starting a new story for Jåttåvågen and Hinna Park.
For decades, new thoughts and amitious plans have filled the air in Hinna Park. With new
business present, the story continues.

The Energy Quarter is located with proximity to the canal, park and traffic flow, and is easily accessible by bus, car, bike or train. As the name states, energy is a central part of our vision with this development. Our goal is to create spaces with good energy; vibrant buildings that allow for creative, innovative and satisfied employees. Places where people can meet in formal and informal conversations, but also more quiet zones for concentration and specialization.

Troll is the fi rst building which will make up Hinna Park’s new Energy Quarter. The building consists of 2 towers over fi ve and 8 fl oors respectively. These are connected by a middle section which extends over the lower three fl oors.
The emphasis is on innovative and fl exible workplace solutions, with the possibility of renting from as little as 250 m2. There will be both car and cycle parking and ample locker and changing facilities in the basement. The canteen is located in a neighbouring building.
Troll is named after the latest and greatest Condeep built in Jåttåvågen in 1995. Production of Condeep started in 1973 and is for many the epitome of oil operations in the North Sea.
Troll is one of Norway’s fi rst offi ce buildings constructed to Energy Class A, and as a “passive house” supported by Enova.

Project under development, named after the oil and gas fi eld discovered in the North Sea in 1979. Building starts by contract or estimated 2014/2015.
Of the remaining new buildings, Gullfaks is the one closest to the sea. The location is beautiful with direct views to the fjord, and the canal that fl ows alongside the park just outside the building. Exterior and interiors may be designed and adjusted in ways that support your company’s vision, work methods and business model.
