Haiti Earthquake Power Point

On the 12th January 2010, at 4.53, local time, an earthquake struck. 50,00-200,000 are dead. Many are wounded. But we can make a difference
Reaching 7.0 on the Richter scale, this is the worst earthquake they have had in 200 years. People from America have come and are rescuing locals from the rubble. A six-year-old boy was rescued five days after the earthquake, and so were many others.
To make matters worse, there has been looting going on, too. Some locals have been grabbing possessions from the destroyed houses of others - and are fighting over them. A bank collapsed and people ran to get the money. This is making living conditions even more harsh.
So as you can see, Haiti isnt a very nice place to be living right now. But you can make a difference. Donate just a small amount of money and youll be making all of their lives better. Thank you
