    The Department of Education Region IV-CALABARZON announces the 2015 edition of C-STAR Program through the CALABARZON GAWAD PATNUGOT. This initiative supports the CivilService Commission's Program on Awards and lncentives for Service Excelience (PTAISE).

    Aligned to DepEd CALABARZON's mantra, "lt is a Region where Excellence is a Cultureand Quality is a Commitment", this program will recognize exemplary performance of teachers,instructional leaders, and non-teaching personnel who brought honor to their place of work -the Schools Division Offices (SDOs'), the Region and to the Nation as a whole. lt will also giverecognition to Schools and SDos'that made difference on the Education landscape througheffective implementation of School-Based and SDOs' Programs and Projects.

    The guidelines, criteria and forms relevant to the Search are enclosed herewith.

    GUIDELINES

    The CALABARZON GAWAD PATNUGOT is a regional project that aims to support the Civil Service Commissions Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE). Aligned to DepED CALABARZONs mantra. It is a region where excellence is a culture and quality is a commitment, this project will recognize exemplary performance of teachers, instructional leaders, non-teaching personnel who brought honor to their place of work (division), to the region and to the nation as whole. It will also give recognition to schools division and schools that made difference on the educational landscape through effective school-based programs and projects.

    1. Recognize schools division and schools; and DepED CALABARZON teachers, school heads; education program supervisors, public schools district supervisors and non-teaching personnel; best/most effective programs and SBM implementers; and most effective action researches.

    2. Motivate and inspire DepED CALABARZON personnel to continue improve the quality of their performance towards excellence.

    1. The Assistant Regional Director, as chair shall organize a selection committee for each category consisting of Chiefs, Team Leaders/Unit Heads from different teams/ units and Education Program Supervisors at the region as members.

    2. Each division shall choose the division candidate for the Gawad Patnugot who will undergo final evaluation and interview by the Regional Panel of Judges.

    3. Demonstration teaching, interview and validation of submitted documents shall be announced in a specific time.

    11. OUTSTANDING CAMPUS JOURNALISM PROGRAM

    CRITERIA FOR THE REGIONAL SEARCH FOR OUTSTANDING CAMPUS JOURNALISM PROGRAM IMPLEMENTER

    General Guidelines 1. The Regional Office shall conduct the selection of one Outstanding Campus Journalism Program

    Implementer 2. Each division should have one entry for this category based on the criteria provided for by the

    Regional Office 3. Each school-candidate shall be ranked based on the total points garnered. The top three (3) shall

    be given the following equivalent points, for consideration in the computation of the overall standing of the division, to wit:

    4. The Selection Committee shall be composed of the following: Chairman: Chief of the CMLT; Members: Regional EPS in charge of Campus Journalism, two Regional Education Program Supervisors, and President of the Regional School Paper Advisers Association.
