President’s Perspective
It hasn’t been much of a winter this year
for skiing, but we’re making the most of
it! About 20 people enjoyed the long
weekender to Mont Tremblant in late
January. Thanks to Paulette for
organizing the trip. Check out the
pictures in this issue.
The big Cortina trip departs for Italy on
March 2 and returns late on March 11.
41 folks are signed up, mostly skiers but
several not. Ski tours on the mountain
and walking tours in Venice have been
arranged, and it promises to be a trip to
remember! Watch for pictures when we
come back.
Hold Saturday, April 7 for our year-end
ski banquet! Diane and Phyl are hard at
work organizing a wonderful event. See
the notice in this newsletter. Hope to see
you there! It’s always a fun time.
Our next club party/meeting is
Tuesday, March 20 when we’ll elect
next year’s officers. Please attend and
help us close out another great ski
season.

Your Ski Club is
Seeking a Vice President!
Elections will be held at our annual meeting/party on Tuesday, March 20
Your club currently needs a vice president for the 2018-19 season. The position has been in good hands with
Paulette LeFever recently. The board meets at 6:30pm on the first Tuesday of the month (except July) for one
hour. The board is easy going and works well together.
V.P. Duties: The Vice President shall assume all duties of the President in his/her absence or disability.
He/she shall be responsible for the functioning and proper coordination of all committees and
receives annual activity and summary reports. The Vice President shall be responsible for the
planning and execution of the programs (and food) at the general meetings and also will be
responsible to the Board of Directors for all properties belonging to the Finger Lakes Ski Club. Please consider the position! Contact the Nominating Committee: Linda Tersegno, Dave Kopp or Jay Clark
by March 1 if interested.

End of Season Banquet and Celebration Party!

Season Banquet!
We will be going to the Sunset
Restaurant this year. There will be a buffet -
style meal with a cash bar. Cocktails start at
6:00pm with dinner at 7:00pm.
