F ierce Conversation training teaches attendees how to have vital conversations that inter-rogate reality, provoke learn-

ing, resolve tough challenges and enrich relationships. While no single conversation is guaranteed to change the trajectory of a career, a congregation, a relationship, or a life…any single conversation can.

These workshops will provide sixteen hours of experiential training on how to have more productive conversations. The skills learned will be immediately appli-cable to one’s personal and professional life. As accredited providers for Fierce, Inc. in the Episcopal Church, the faculty of the Nicholas Center (Jennifer Baskerville- Burrows, Courtney Reid, Jim Steen and Scott Stoner) have provided Fierce train-ing in a variety of church and diocesan contexts.

Cost: $500 and includes all meals, single room accommodations with private baths, training, and materials. Groups from congregations and/or dioceses are encour-aged to attend together. Each workshop is limited to a maximum of 14 participants. Groups of 10 or more are welcome to arrange their own private Fierce training.

All workshops are held at the Nicholas Center at the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago, located at 65 E. Huron, Chicago, IL. The Nicholas Center, a ministry of the Diocese of Chicago operating in partner-ship with Living Compass, offers programs to strengthen clergy and lay leaders for service in the church and the world.
