An exclusive interview with HITMAN, read as hitman talks about his life from

‘ I was born in birming-ham in the 1990’s and was raised on an estate there. My pops left me and my mum when i was 5 and this wasnt easy to cope with as i was still a youth. Il neva forgett the day he walked out and ill neva forgive that p****. My mum did all she could to raise me propely so i really tried to make her happy but unfortunatly the streets owed me. I sstarted runnin havoc with my boys and got in trouble on multiple occasions. I got involved in some risky business with some next mans and it all went wrong. they fol-lowed me home and beat me up, raising me in the process. i was in hospital for sometime and when i was there my mum passed away, God bless her soul. Then i was taken in by my uncle who luckily for me was some big timers around the area so money wasnt a problem for me. They gave me a glimpse of the highlife and i thought to myself “ i want a bit of that” but i did not whant to get in that sort of business, so i started spitting bars.

‘However my past was still causing trouble and i was constantly looking over my shoulders incase anyone wanted me dead or paralised. Those same guys that put me in hospi-tal where unstaisfied with me being around and came after me again, but this time i had my uncle with me. i was in town with my bird when i saw them guys again but i stood my ground and didnt budge. Thats cuz mum didnt raise a fool or p****. there was bout 10 of em and i wasnt backing off so went to some alley to sort it out there and then. what they didnt no was my unlce was parked up there and when he realised what was going on he pulled out his heat and told em what there fate was gonna be if they didnt f*** off and leave me alone. Well after this incident they clocked on who my uncle was and neva looked me in the eye again. life was good after this cuz my uncle had contacts and got me studio time and evrything to help me with my ambitions. I had evrything, the money, cars and girls but it all went wrong when i slipped and had to do some time on the inside, but it was all good cuz i was well known behind bars and thats where i met my boy lethal, who was also spitting bars.

‘Lethal is, well lethal, look him wrong in the face and he switches in a second but we had each others back and on the inside became lablled as the deadly duo. For the short time we was in we made a name for ourselfs which made our music spread fast on the inside so i was in for a shock when i came out because we learnt that our music was big on the inside. Lethals also fea-

tured on some tracks on STREET SHADOW’s, my new album to be released soon.

The album is called street shadows because its how i vision the cold, harsh streets that we have to roll on and run in order to survive. So many youths have been left dead in the streets and the only thing they got to show for it is a chalk line, but there souls are still lurking the streets through the dark shadows of the night. There are 12 songs on the album and each one comes with a dif-ferent vibe and feel, arous-ing different emotions, yh i can be deep at times. The album has different styles and each song has a spe-cific purpose. for example Hero, the third song is dedicated to my mum, who in my eyes will always be my hero for raising a guy like me and ill never be able to show how much i miss her and love her, so thas an emotional song for me and at times i was in tears when recording.
