To instruct the CAO to draft a letter to the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission confirming that the Heisler Community Centre Association is responsible for operating and maintaining the Heisler Community Centre To accept the request from Flagstaff County to extend the current Community Peace Officer Services agreement until March 31, 2015 To appoint Deanna Lunde as the Village representative for the Parkland Regional Library Board To transfer $2,751.60 to Post Closure Reserves (funding future liability at the Sedgewick landfill) To table the renewal of the Bylaw Enforcement Contract with Daryl Reinke until the February council meeting. Dog Control Bylaw #468-12 Citizens are reminded that dog tags are required for all dogs over 3 months of age in the Village of Heisler for a fee. Tags allow Village staff to find the owner quickly and efficiently. If your pet is found without an identification tag, the animal will be sent to the Forestburg Vet Clinic and the owner will be subject to a fine.

Dog tag fees increased as of February 1, 2015 Regular: $30.00 Restricted: $200.00 If you have not renewed your dog tag, please drop by the village office or drop/mail your payment.

Heisler Garbage Transfer Site is located off of Manning Ave

(in between Main Street and Sifton Street).

Hours are WEDNESDAY from 8:30a.m.—12:00 p.m.

$5.00 gate fee, plus other applicable fees depending on what type of refuse it is.

ATTENTION:

PLEASE DO NOT PILE CARDBOARD OR OTHER MATERIALS LIKE GARBAGE BESIDE THE

RECYCLING BINS IF THEY ARE FULL! THANK YOU!

The Heisler Ag Society is currently accepting applications for the

2015 Recreation Grant. Applicants should submit a detailed budget and timeline of how and when the money will be

spent. A financial statement would assist us in our decision making. Follow up Information

may be requested upon completion of each project.

Application deadline is March 1, 2015

The Village of Heisler is now accepting Tenders for

Maintenance of the Ball Diamonds in Irene Parlby Park during the spring

and summer of 2015. The maintenance person will be responsible for floating the diamonds regular-

ly throughout the baseball season (April 15-August 15, 2015) In addition,

weeding of the diamonds will be required.

The maintenance person must supply their own vehicle (quad) for pulling the

floater.

Tenders will be accepted from February 1 to April 1, 2015.

Please mail tenders to the Village of Heisler, Box 60, Heisler AB, T0B 2A0 or

drop off at 128 Main Street. Please contact Amanda at the village office for information at 780-889-3774.
