The extracurricular activity that I chose to discuss is after school dance. I started dance when I was 3,

but only continued it for half a year. Then, in 9th grade, I attended the after school dance

performance in May. From then, I have been dancing, and haven’t loved it more. It is pretty sad that

I only realized how much I enjoy dancing until now, but I don’t regret stopping. The major WoK that

takes part in dance, in my perspective, is emotion and perception. The way that emotion is in dance,

is because you have to dance with emotion. A dance that lacks raw emotion, is lifeless, boring and

uninspiring. However, the way that perception is in dance is because everyone perceives a dance

different, just like a work of art.
