Ever since it was launched almost 20 years ago, the EUROBIKE has been increasing the popularity of its central theme: bikes. The trade fair concept is orientated consistently and exclusively towards the branch’s requirements. That is why, today, the EUROBIKE is ahead of the pack when it comes to being up-to-date and to presenting trends and visions.

The EUROBIKE has also always been ahead of its time with its supporting programme. Demonstration course, Shop 2000, Fashion Show, EUROBIKE Award, Holiday on Bike and Demo Day – the EUROBIKE sets the pace together with the entire branch.

Global innovations, up-coming trends, the latest products – at the EUROBIKE, the microphones, lenses and notepads get what they came for: headlines on economics, sport, technology and leisure enjoyment. Over the course of only four days, the press office at Messe Friedrichshafen takes care of over 1,400 journalists from all over the world, provides background information and helps to get the topic of cycling on the front page.

Side events can be fillers or sensations. At the EUROBIKE, they are a mega-sensation! Structured clearly according to topics and coordinated exactly to the requirements of the trade – that is side events at EUROBIKE.

• The EUROBIKE AWARD honours the best of the best.• The EUROBIKE Fashion Show is the world’s only order fashion show. • The EUROBIKE TRAVEL TALK is the superlative congress for cycling holidays. • HOLIDAY ON BIKE serves the travel market on the day open to the public.

The outdoor course and the big EUROBIKE Party further contribute towards the right feeling for and about cycling.

DEMO DAY. Dress rehearsal out in the wild.

New bikes and new equipment generate new experiences, literally. And these experiences are to be had under real conditions at the DEMO DAY of the EUROBIKE.

One day before the official start of the trade fair, trade and media are offered sufficient opportunity to test numerous bikes and pieces of equipment under tough conditions. The DEMO DAY is also a popular excuse to explore the natural surroundings of the EUROBIKE: a region to fulfil practically all of your wildest dreams.

Open to the general public. Fans’ day.

Although the EUROBIKE is, first and foremost, a trade fair, it opens its doors to all fans of two pedals on one day.

20,000 visitors flood into the halls and outdoor area. The initial reactions and questions from the fans offer direct feedback to new products, and act as valuable indicators for the industry. At the same time, the mass media report on the large crowd.

Once again, the EUROBIKE makes the topic of cycling into the lead story on TV, the Internet and in the print media.

Genuine service starts where normal expectations stop. This is why, for the EUROBIKE, service starts with the free shuttle bus service to and from three airports. Hence, the airports of Zurich, Friedrichs-hafen and Memmingen are linked directly to the trade fair site. Incidentally, so are 250 hotels in the vicinity which are served by ten free shuttle buses. 500 hire bikes – free of charge – ensure that visitors to Friedrichshafen and the area can get around by bike.

Trade fairs can be really strenuous. Not so the EUROBIKE! It offers a professional yet relaxed working atmosphere. The ultra-modern trade fair site welcomes its guests with its imposing architecture, airy woodframe structures and a great deal of daylight.

The extreme compactness of the site helps you find your way about quickly and easily, and means that you can get from hall to hall in no time. At the EUROBIKE, you can concentrate on your work, and not on how to find your way around.

Since completion of the third construction phase – the so-called Extension East – the EUROBIKE now has an exhibition area of 85,000 m², twelve trade fair halls, two outdoor areas and two foyers. There are also two conference centres, the trade fair lake, the atrium and many smaller meeting rooms.

Profile of the site.

The two equally-large entrances with the same parking and shuttle-bus frequency guarantee smooth operation. All halls are easily visible to the visitors. The exhibitors’ chance to park right next to the halls and the immediate location behind Friedrichshafen airport are advantages you don’t get at all trade fairs!
