About ELTCThe ELTC offers English Language coursesthroughout the year. It is part of the StudentServices Department of The University ofSheffield and combines high professionalstandards with a friendly atmosphere.Students come here for both short and longperiods of study and we are confident that wecan help you to choose the right course to suityour needs. We also provide language supportfor students on degree courses.

Our location and facilitiesThe ELTC is situated a short distance from themain university campus and within easy reachof Sheffield city centre by tram or on foot. TheCentre is located in a modern, well-equippedbuilding with the latest teaching and learningtechnology, including interactive whiteboardsand four large computer rooms. We also makeuse of the excellent facilities across theUniversity, including our state-of-the-art 24hour library and computer centre, theInformation Commons.

Our StaffOur well qualified, experienced teaching teamhave worked in a wide variety of different

countries before joining the ELTC. The helpfuloffice team can answer all your enquiriesbefore and after your arrival. All our staff arecommitted to providing you with excellentservice to help you make the most of yourtime here.
