I am currently looking for an opportunity to gain valuable work experience abroad, specifically in China or Taiwan. While my studies have primarily focused on language acquisition, I would submit that my myriad experiences abroad have not only allowed me to develop cross-cultural awareness and competency, but have also given me the opportunity to hone skills essential to succeeding at any company. I have strong interpersonal skills and am able to work efficiently and effectively in teams as well as positively interact with a wide array of individuals with varied cultural backgrounds. I am self-motivated and extremely resourceful, as evidenced by my ability to adapt, survive, and thrive on my own in various cities including Beijing, Taipei, Bogotá, and Madrid. My strength and passion is communication, both verbal and in writing, as I am able to comfortably and effectively communicate in English, Spanish, and Mandarin. Additionally, I am flexible, adaptable and able to work and succeed in diverse environments and cultures.
