ContentsWe are very excited about the range and quality of our offer this season with something for all ages and interests. We are delighted that Arts Council England has re-selected us as one of their regularly funded organisations which enables us to take artistic risks and bring you some of the very best emerging and established talent from across the country.

We are delighted to have won the Access for All award at the Leicester and Leicestershire Excellence in Tourism Awards 2014. We are also proud to be an active partner of Leicester’s range of high quality arts festivals including Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival, The Spark Festival and Let’s Dance International Frontiers.

Particular highlights for me include Near Gone and Red Riding Hood performances which I saw and loved at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. I am also really pleased that we can welcome back the wonderful Caroline Horton with her new play Penelope RETOLD and old favourites The Coull Quartet and Quick Shifts Dance collective.

Our In Good Company partnership with Derby Theatre and Create Theatre in Mansfield will enable us to welcome some of the most exciting emerging theatre talent in the East Midlands to perform during Leicester’s very own DEparture Lounge Festival in June.

It is an exciting year for us as building work starts to create a whole new gallery to our existing building, doubling our size and creating 3 new spaces for the display of visual art. We are also delighted to warmly welcome Lord Attenborough’s son, the Honourable Michael Attenborough, as our new Patron. We are so grateful for the continued support of the Attenborough family to our work in promoting inclusive practice and nurturing talent.

We are looking forward to welcoming you! Enjoy!
