. *onclusion:estis is the ale gonad that $roduces s$er ato9oa in a cascade of $rocess collecti5ely referred to ass$er atogenesis. :his $rocess is under the influence of testosterone, uteini9ing Hor one and @ollicleSti ulating Hor one. :he testis is sus$ended in the scrotu y the s$er atic cord ")luye i et al., 2 K/A $antah et al., 2 3%. 0inger is a rhi9o e that is used as a s$ice or edicine and can e used fresh, dried and

$owdered or as a Euice or oil. 0inger has een used edicinally and as a culinary s$ice and dates as far ac as& years with origin in Asia and was used es$ecially in India and 6hina.0inger is considered a safe her al edicine with only few and insignificant side effects " awson et al / +''2% utnot a great deal is nown regarding its eta olis and eta olites. In tissue distri ution study, it was shownthat ginger was distri uted to all e;a ined tissue " rain, heart, lungs, s$leen, li5er, idney, sto ach and s allintestine% with highest concentrations in the gastrointestinal tract. :he concentration of ginger was higher intissues than in $las a "Jaing, g>rat and + g> g>rat and ha5e a useful effects on s$er atogenesis ands$er $ara eters in rats. :his is not in line with y $resent study on the effect of ethanolic e;tract of Zingiberofficinale "ginger% on the histology of the testis which re5ealed that the long ter ingestion of ginger results indisintegration of ger inal, su$$orting and atured s$er ato9oa cells. :his is indicati5e that ginger ay ha5eto;ic effect on the histology of the ratsO testis.
