Dr. Majid worked with Limitless – Emirate Real State Developer – as a

project design manager of Al-Wasel Project (43 Billion SR) which

supposes to be developed in Riyadh city. It was my responsibility to guide,

review and control all dwelling types design: villa, house apartment and

apartments, that been designed by different firms in United State –

Maryland, California and Jordan. Furthermore, I was managing the urban

design of the open places- plazas within the Al-Wasel city.

Dr. Majid worked with the High Commission for the Development of

Arriyadh city (ADA) since my graduation in 1991 to date. The (ADA) is a

governmental authority responsible for all urban & architecture design for

the Saudi Capital. The most important tasks I carried out during this period

are the following:

Architectural projects design management.

Architectural competitions management.

Urban design projects management.

Qualifying consulting firms.

Preparing the terms of reference for each project prior the competition.

Arbitrating architectural competitions.

Analyzing financial proposals for project construction tenders.

reviewed and modified by Dr. Majid in order to be compatible with Saudi

residents' needs and traditions. In addition to that, he was involved in the

urban design phase of the city, which designed in Florida-USA.

Scope of Work Preparing preliminary studies and urban design for the residential area, as well as providing solution for traffic problems, and addressing security and safety aspects in the quarter.

Project To upgrade the Urban Environment – quality of life- of a residential area in Almaseef Quarter- Riyadh City, SA.

Scope of Work Preparing preliminary studies and urban designs for the residential area: To designate a safe and an integrated pedestrian movement system; to improve the social relationship of the residents; to establish central area around the mosque, which helps in providing an adequate local stores for daily shopping needs, as well as a space for children recreational requirements and as a meeting place of the residents.
