EXPERIENCE 2011 to Present – Saudi Red Bricks Co. Bahrah Saudi ArabiaConsulting Engineer

I have continued to serve as Manufacturing / Automation Engineering consultant in a direct contract capacity through my own Limited Liability Corporation providing various commissioning services, retrofits, expansion projects and control system upgrades throughout the facility. The scope of my work involves all new and existing equipment supplied and maintained by Swindell Dressler as well as some equipment supplied by smaller companies and plant built equipment. In addition to my regular duties I also serve as a General Engineering consultant during the planning and engineering phases of a plant expansion project, and maintenance consultant for day to day operations of all 3 facilities. I work 4 annual rotations consisting of 9 weeks onsite and 4 weeks furlough.

2009 – June to 2011 Jan – Swindell Dressler Intl. Inc. for Saudi Red Bricks Co, Bahrah Saudi Arabia.Commissioning Engineer

At the request of Saudi Red Bricks Plant Management, I was assigned indefinitely to Saudi Red Bricks as a General Purpose Commissioning Engineer to provide electrical and mechanical engineering services, programming, commissioning and training of Maintenance and Electrical Personnel for the entire 3 plant facility in Bahrah Saudi Arabia.

I supported automated equipment in all 3 facilities comprised of various control platforms. Additionally, I provided onsite engineering,

programming and deployment of a variety of new equipment ranging from material handling systems, Kilns and dryers, and a fully integrated real-time production tracking/management SCADA system to improve overall production efficiency. I also oversaw the construction and provided commissioning services for 4 new kilns and dryers, as well as additional automated processing and packaging machinery required to supply and compliment the additional kilns. The control platforms are exclusively AB ControlLogix. At the time of my resignation from Swindell Dressler I was earning an average annual income of 145k, including overtime, travel incentive and per-diem.

I have worked as a regular contractor for Swindell Dressler both individually and through my previous company, providing commissioning and field service work since 2003. In October of 2007 I accepted a full time employment offer to complete commissioning for three carbon / graphite furnaces in Southeast Poland. My responsibilities included Field Electrical and Mechanical services including design / redesign, programming, startup and debug of all equipment as required to meet contractual obligations of the equipment. I was deployed as a One-Man completion team and company Liason, working with local contractors for completion.

I was contracted as a commissioning / completion specialist to complete a problematic 5 year open contract that Staff Engineers had been unsuccessful at satisfying.
