NORTH COAST CROSS COUNTRY

By Frankie Supple

On Monday morning I was attending the NC Cross Country in Lismore. My race wasn’t until the end of the day so we had to walk the track first. When we walked the track it was very wet and my joggers got really soggy. The track was much different to the dirt track in Kempsey. The track conditions were quite good except that the grass was quite long and wet. My run wasn’t until 1.00. When I ran I rolled my ankle and it really hurt. In the end I came 6th and that means I’m going to Sydney. After the run I was really red and had a stitch. I was so proud of myself and excited for Sydney. My mum couldn’t believe it and that’s the end.

By Wilton Townsend

On Monday morning at Lismore I did Cross Country. We had to walk the track. It was a bit wet but it dried up quickly. My race was not until the end of the day. When it started we ran into the bush. I came in 7th place so that means I am the first reserve. My time was 11.26 and my time at LNC was 12.06 so that means I beat my personal best by 40 seconds. While I was running I was throwing up and that is the end of my story.

VOLUNTARY STUDENT CONTRIBUTIONS

We are asking all families that can afford to contribute $50 per student or $120 for 3 more students to our school make these payments online or to our office. This contribution is voluntary and adds to our ability to purchase additional items such as playtime equipment with all curriculum materials supplied by the school through our Resource Allocation Model (RAM) funding. We understand that with the negative effects of last year felt by many families that this will not be possible in 2021 and ask that you only pay what is possible for your family.

CHPS SCHOOL UNIFORM POLICY

Wearing our uniform promotes a sense of belonging for students and creates a positive identity for the school community.

The NSW Department of Education strongly encourages the wearing of school uniform in all state public schools. The Crescent Head Public School P&C and all staff at the school support this view.

Crescent Head Public School does not have EFTPOS facilities available for payment of school related payments. We do however have our Parent Online Payment (POP) available online.
