Power and agilityEvery Corolla turns heads in admiration. But the spectacular

T Sport demands exceptional respect, both for its looks and

its outstanding performance.

This powerful, agile hatchback features a six-speed gearbox and is

driven by an exciting 1.8 litre VVTL-i engine which develops 189 bhp.

Maximising performance while achieving excellent fuel economy, the

T Sport can accelerate to 62 mph in just 8.4 seconds and onwards to a

top speed of 140 mph (where permitted). Yet it can still return 34 mpg

on the combined cycle.

To match its performance, the T Sport comes with extra features, such

as Brake Assist for safer braking in emergency situations, Vehicle Stability

The first things you notice about the Corolla’s interior

are its smart, contemporary design and the genuine

premium look and feel throughout the cabin - from

the stylish, ergonomically designed dashboard to the

high-grade cloth seats and chrome door handles.

With a fully adjustable steering wheel and column, plus

driver’s seat height adjuster, it’s easy to find the most

comfortable driving position (on 3-door models the driver’s

seat has a standard memory function), while the full range

of instrumentation is clearly visible, thanks to Toyota’s special

Optitron displays which provide maximum clarity.

Extra driver peace of mind is afforded by the optional

turn-by-turn satellite navigation system, featuring Electronic

It’s quiet in space

Loads of options

On hatchback and estate models, the

rear seats split 60:40, fold and

tumble, giving you a useful variety of

passenger and load options.

Life may be crowded and noisy outside, but once

inside a Corolla you experience space and a sense

of calm.

Its specially engineered platform has allowed the designers to

create an open, roomy cabin with plenty of space for driver

and passengers. In fact, the Corolla is one of the most spacious

cars in its class.

For practicality, there’s an abundance of storage space,

conveniently situated around the cabin. In addition to the

glove box and front door pockets, there’s a handy box behind

the handbrake and two storage areas in the lower dashboard.

What’s more, there are twin cupholders in the front and, in

3-door models, twin holders in the back as well.

The generous boot space can be made bigger and more

adaptable by the 60:40 split of the rear seats which, on

hatchback and estate models, fold and tumble for even more

room and load flexibility. Estate models also feature a

retractable tonneau cover.

With petrol power units, the main solution is prov ided

by Toyota’s VVT-i technology – Variable Valve Timing

with intelligence. This advanced system automatically

reacts to the way you’re driving and the demands

Safety and security are key considerations when

it comes to choosing a car. Which is why the

Corolla comes with such a comprehensive range

of features and equipment.

Every Corolla has Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with

Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) for maximum

braking efficiency, while the T Sport adds Brake Assist to
