Exterior - sleek style

The Corolla sedan stands apart from the competition with a host of newly updated signature design

features that are uniquely Toyota.

There’s a distinctive new front grille design across the range, with an updated front bumper bisecting

upper and lower vents. The Corolla sedan’s headlights have been redesigned to be slimmer, but no

less visible with a combination of Halogen (GX and GLX) and bi-beam LED (ZR) light technology

showing the way. Auto light control is standard across the range.

The updated Corolla sedan styling extends further than the front end though; new combination

taillights, a reshaped garnish on the bootlid and - on GLX and ZR grades - updated 16” alloys featuring

two-tone grey accents, are further exterior highlights.

Interior - modern comfort

The Corolla sedan isn’t only distinctive from the outside. On the inside you will discover plenty of

premium-accented features in the spacious cabin, as well as modern styling elements synonymous

with the iconic Corolla nameplate.

The Corolla sedan’s instrument panel features a bold double-layer structure, along with a bright and

clear 4.2” colour Multi-Information Display (MID) between classic dual speedometer and tachometer

rings. In front of these sits a steering wheel boasting updated convenience buttons for safer

on-the-go operation. Modern technology such as Bluetooth phone connectivity and audio streaming

is a given, as is a reversing camera and a 60:40 split rear folding seat for added convenience.

An intuitive 7” touchscreen display is now standard across the entire range and you’ll find Satellite

Navigation with the added convenience of SUNA* real-time traffic information in GLX and ZR grades,

along with Voice Recognition capability. The ZR grade Corolla sedan receives synthetic leather door

trim and leather accented seats. The driver’s seat in the ZR is also 8-way power adjustable and

includes lumbar adjustment too.

You’ll also note just how peaceful it is inside the Corolla sedan; Toyota has worked hard to improve

the silencing material used in the model’s interior panels to ensure the quietest possible cabin,

regardless of the road surface you are on.

With a powerful 1.8-litre petrol engine at the heart of the Corolla sedan, your journey will

be comfortable whether it’s across town or out on the state highway. Power doesn’t come

at the cost of fuel economy though; thanks to the use of low friction components and

Toyota’s fantastic engine efficiency technology, the Corolla sedan delivers improved

combined fuel economy of 6.4-litres/100km*.

Helping provide you with a comfortable, engaging on-road experience is the

Corolla sedan’s improved Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), featuring step

upshift and downshift control functionality, G-AI Shift which automatically changes shift

patterns in response to road conditions, and driver inputs, deceleration control and

a sports driving mode.

The Corolla sedan offers a truly impressive level of standard safety equipment on-board.

Toyota’s comprehensive Safety Sense package has now been added to the Corolla sedan,

giving drivers everywhere and in all types of environments, a truly impressive level of

standard safety technology.

This system incorporates a number of safety measures, providing extra peace of mind,

including Toyota’s Pre-Crash Safety System (PCS), Lane Departure Alert (LDA) and

Automatic High Beam control (AHB).

In addition to Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control (TRC), occupants are

protected by driver and front passenger, front side, front/rear curtain shield and driver’s

knee airbags. All five seating positions feature 3-point seat belts fitted with ELR function.

An emergency stop signal has also been added, which activates in the event of

particularly hard braking; rear hazard lights blink as a warning to following motorists of

a potential incident ahead.

Corolla exterior colours

Protection. Acrylic bonnet and headlight protectors (sold separately)

are custom-shaped to protect the bonnet and headlight areas from

stone chips, insects and paint damage. They are manufactured

to be tough and resistant to UV discolouration.

Carpet Floor Mats. Protect the floor area of your Corolla Sedan from daily

wear and tear with tailored carpet floor mats, woven from premium quality

materials. Featuring distinctive Corolla branding, the driver’s side floor mat

features two retaining clips to ensure it stays securely in place.

Aerodynamics. Add some flare to your Corolla Sedan while

improving the aerodynamics. Constructed from high quality

lightweight plastic, the rear spoiler has been designed by Toyota

to complement your Corolla. Note: requires painting.

Seat covers. Protect your seats from daily wear and tear with high quality

fabric seat covers. Boasting excellent wear resistance, they are easy to

clean for lasting good looks. Finely tailored to fit snugly, the covers allow

easy access to front seat map pockets and are side airbag compatible.

Weathershields. This set of acrylic slimline weathershields

allow fresh air into the cabin while protecting you from

the elements. They are lightly tinted to reduce glare

and resistant to UV discolouration.

allow you to tow a maximum braked load of 1300kg and unbraked

driver, front passenger, front side, front/rear

curtain shield and driver’s knee airbags.

The outer rear seats have two ISOFIX fixing points

for easy attachment of child seating.

There are 3 tether anchors across all rear seats.

Safety isn’t just a priority for the

Corolla Sedan. The 5-Star ANCAP

safety rating is testament to its

renowned Toyota build quality.

Standard across all models, a reversing camera with

guidelines greatly enhances all-round safety when

backing out of a tight spot. It’s also great to feel that extra

confidence if you find yourself nervous in car parks.

Selecting Sport mode changes the shifting pattern

of the transmission for more spirited driving.

Front seat pretensioners instantly tighten the seat belts at the time of

collision to help enhance occupant restraint performance. The force limiter

function loosens the seat belts while maintaining the load to help

mitigate the impact to the chest regions of the front seat occupants.

Lane Departure Alert (LDA) sensitivity can be set via

the Multi-information Display (MID). In use LDA can

be switched on or off with the steering wheel button.

Electric Power Steering (EPS) is vehicle speed sensitive so low speed

manoeuvers require minimal effort while at highway speeds less

assistance is provided. The turning circle is a city friendly 10.8m.
