What is Generation Texas Week? Dear NPE Families, When it comes to higher education, students have plenty of questions. Do I want to go to college? How do I get ready for college-level coursework? Can I afford to go to college? Is there a way to learn more about the college admission process and financial aid? To help students learn about the importance of higher education and where they can find answers, Clear Creek ISD has desig-nated the week of, November 7th to 11th as Generation TX Week. CCISD schools join others across Texas in this campaign to create a culture of college and career readiness leading to the most successful generation in Texas history. On Wednesday November 9th, students and CCISD employees, are asked to wear a college shirt to school to support Generation Texas Week. That night CCISD will be hosting College and Career Fair at Clear Falls High School.

This November our NPE Character Crew will be creat-ing Homeless Hygiene Kits to donate to the Star of Hope Mission in Houston. The kits will include travel basic hygiene necessities rolled into a pair of warm winter socks. The Character Crew would like to ask the school to help donate new travel sized toiletries from November 1st to November 18. We are asking grade level to bring specific items.
