2014 -16 CashBack for Creativity Training and Employability Strand

The CashBack for Creativity Training and Employability Scheme will develop specially tailored Creative Industries training programmes in partnership with Further Education and Higher Education institutions across the country.

In partnership with College Development Network and Skills Development Scotland, 3 FE institutions have been identified to develop specially tailored Creative Industries training programmes for young people across the country.

The FE institutions identified as potential CashBack for Creativity Training and Employability partners to date are as follows: Glasgow Clyde College, Forth Valley College and Dundee and Angus College.

Glasgow Clyde College has been awarded £100,000 to develop a project that will be delivered from 2014 -2016 based at Dumfries House in Cumnock, Ayrshire.

The engagement will be with local schools and youth groups bringing them into the centre to experience industry processes and projects ranging from creative development including textile skills, photography, film, journalism, team working, industry awareness sessions and engagement with inspiring, successful practitioners from a range of companies.
