Focus on Maintenance Work to be started and completed in Summer 2017:
� Second floor hallway renovations – consistent with Phase I; finish first floor hallways and renovate stairwells.
� Hazardous materials testing and abatement
� Fire suppression expansion
� Replace elevator
� Gymnasium maintenance and HVAC design
� Plumbing improvements
� Additional architectural design development and cost estimates for expanded scope of Phase III renovations

SHS Turf Field ReplacementReview of Timeline
� Initial replacement of our first synthetic turf field from 2005
� Turf rehabilitation performed in 2014 when synthetic track was resurfaced
� Significant worn spots in 2015 with patching of one area.
� Consulting architects advised need to replace in 2016
� Design documents and bid process happening now subject to May 2016 funding in order to complete in Summer 2016.
SHS Turf Field Replacement$675,000
� Reviewed current turf and infill options with guidance from consulting architects (BSC Group)
� Athletic Director and coaches from various sports reviewed needs and did site visits to test other playing surfaces
� Did not recommend alternate infills to crumb rubber, but additional resilient pad included for shock absorption
� Alternates including additional safety netting as part of bid.
Climate Control Project – 7 Schools Phase II$950,000
� Phase II would allow for cooling additional instructional rooms and a larger space at HJMS or SHS
