PRE-PLACEMENT TALK: ACCENTURE

Accenture, one of our prestigious recruiters has visited our Institutions today to conduct the

campus drive. The Pre placement talk for 2020 batch students on the career opportunities

was delivered by Mr.Sam Jaba Singh, Senior HRM and his Accenture team at Sri Krishna

Hall. The campus drive is schedule from 19thAugust to 21st August 2019.

INSTITUTIONAL PLENUM

A meeting with Heads of departments was convened by Principal Madam to have a review

of the Accenture campus drive arrangements and progress.





ACADEMIC REVIEW MEETING - CIVIL

Academic Review Meeting was conducted on 18.8.19 for the students of Civil Engineering.

Parents met the respective tutors to know about their ward‟s academic performance and

general discipline. Rank holders were felicitated by our Academic Dean.





ACADEMIC REVIEW MEETING - CSBS

Academic Review Meeting for the Second year CSE C (TCS) was conducted on

18.08.2019. Parents were given a clear idea about the performance of their wards in CIA 1

and the overall performance in the 2nd Semester examinations. Their involvement in co-

curricular and extra-curricular activities was also discussed. The toppers of the end

semester-2 examination Manoshree.J- (RankI), Surendar Raj. G (Rank II) and Bhavik

Kumar. N (Rank III) were awarded by Dr. Albert Raj, Dean-Academics. Students were

motivated and parents affirmed their strong support towards the improvement of the

student's performance.





ANIT-RAGGING AFFIDAVIT - IT

Anti-Ragging awareness session was conducted for the students of II year IT, in continuation

with the registration and submission of Affidavits in ”Aman Movement”. Under this program,

various aspects of ragging and awareness were elaborated with videos. Our students are

proud to confess that there is no such act happening inside our college!





ACADEMIC REVIEW MEETING - CSE

Academic Review Meeting for CSE (II & III Years) was conducted on 18.08.2019. The

discussion was focused on student‟s specific strengths and weakness in individual subjects

and student‟s discipline in classrooms. Consolidated class wise CIA-1 Marks, Semester

Marks and Fee Due List were shown to parents for their ready reference. Parents expressed

their happiness for having their ward studying in our esteemed Institution. They also

expressed their gratitude regarding the care taken by the Institution for the Growth of their

wards.

The theory cum practical session for CCNA course was handled by Mr. J. Daniel Francis

Selvaraj, CSBS Ms. Shruthi Anand, IT. Students were taught about Router configuration,

system IP configurations, connection establishment using packet tracer.

STUDENTS INTERNSHIP PRESENTATION - MECH

Third year students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering presented their

experience as Intern in various industries like Steel Authority of India Limited, Ashok

Leyland, Rabwin industries, Beston pumps, Experts hub Engineering, Aqua Pumps

with their classmates and Tutors. Students gained knowledge about various manufacturing

processes happening in Industries.

D. Ajay gave a short TECHIETALK on “Bitcoin Technology” and P. Jenitta shared her

views on “Virtual and Augmented Reality”. They briefly explained the evolution of these

technologies and the current technical advancement. The initiator and the facilitator

GUEST LECTURE ON OMNICHANNEL RETAILING - SoM

Mr.Kannan Manokaran, Customer Development Manager, Hindustan Unilever Limited

addressed the students on the topic „Omni-channel Retailing’. He has highlighted the new

trends in the market and the strategies used by the companies to increase the sales. He also

insisted job opportunities in the field of marketing and sales. He is a proud alumnus of SoM

batch (2008 – 2010).
