We will also be using disposable bowls and utensils. First Communion Class The next First Communion class will begin on Sunday, March 18 for anyone interested in what we Lutheran believe and teach about the Lord’s Supper. Classes are Sunday, March 18 at 2:00 PM in the Music Room and Wednesday, March 21 at 6:30 PM in the Music Room. First Communion will be offered at all three services on April 7 and 8.

Attention High School Seniors

St. Paul’s offers a scholarship opportunity to high school seniors who are pursuing higher education. If you are interested in applying for the scholarship, please contact the church office to obtain an application. Applications are due no later than noon on Monday, April 16.

Rings of Freedom, Rings of Responsibility, an Annual Milestone Ministry of St. Paul’s

On March 17 & 18 , at all three worship services, there will be a celebration for St. Paul's high school students who have reached this special milestone in their lives. We are acknowledging any student who is preparing to receive or has received their State Driver’s License.

You and your parents are invited to attend if you are a high school student who has received your driver’s license after March 1, 2017 or will be receiving one before September 1, 2018 and have not already received your key ring recognizing your achievement. We would like to know if you would like to participate in this special event so that preparations can be made. Key rings will be given out during worship to all participants to use or to keep in a place to remind them of the Christian emphasis of this milestone in their faith life. Please inform us if you are eligible and cannot be present but would like to receive a key ring, and we can arrange to give it to you individually. We will also provide you with the service of blessing to use privately.

THANK YOU for allowing us this opportunity to be a part of your faith journey! Contact the church office at (609) 267-0740 or [email protected].

Under Construction Because of changes made to our services, we are going to be reconstructing certain aspects of the 9:00 am worship to make it accessible to everyone who loves to attend it. Part of this change will include making sure everyone has a chance to contribute to making the service successful. We are introducing “Clippers.” Clippers will be people that you will find after ALL of the services holding clipboards. They will give people a chance to sign up to be leaders during worship. This includes readers, clickers, ushers, acolytes, altar guild, greeters and communion assistants. For anyone new to these positions, we will make sure you have someone to guide you the first couple times. We hope that everyone who feels a spiritual calling for worship will seek to contribute to our worshipping community at St. Paul’s. By the way, being a Clipper is another way you can serve. If you are interested, please contact Rosanne. Stay tuned for more news while we remain “Under Construction.”
