What they Eat…

• People do not eat this goldfish• Since it’s a slow moving fish and will have a

hard time finding food, you can teach it to eat out of your hand

• Most larger fish eat this fish

Where’d it come from, and how do they make babies?

• The Bubble Eye originated in china but now it can be found in almost any pet store in the United Sates, they aren’t recommended as beginner fish.

• It’s difficult to breed this fish, they can lay up to 1000 eggs and their bubbles develop at the age of 6-9 months

Interesting Behaviors….

• They are slow moving fish and have a hard time seeing they also don’t swim well because the sacs are too heavy

• It’d be better to teach them to eat out of your hand so they don’t starve

• You can take these goldfish out of the water

Interesting Facts =O!

• The Bubble Eye looks interesting because it has two fluid filled sacs under it’s eyes, causing the eyes to be upturned (not always though)

• Came from Asia, specifically from China and Japan• Can grow to be 6-8 inches long• Mainly freshwater fish• These fish actually are born with normal eyes and

normal cheeks• All their problems are because of their bubbles
