Students progress will be monitored in detail by the Head of Year and also the Raising Achievement Group
During this time we will be looking at all aspects of students’ work, as well as attendance, punctuality, behaviour & attitude to learning.
Students will be set realistic, yet challenging targets.
Students will be made aware of the success criteria in subjects in order to reach their targets
Subject Teachers will ensure that all work is marked regularly, to provide feedback to help students
Subject Leaders will be looking at the work and progress of students throughout the year in their subject

Students’ progress will be tracked using our Assessment recording and reporting System.
Students will be formally assessed half-termly in all their subjects. This allows us to identify underachievement.
If this occurs, we will address it instantly by inviting the student for an interview and parents/carers will be informed.
The purpose of the Year 10 mentoring scheme is to support the pastoral and academic development of identified students.
Identified students will be allocated to a mentor and parents/carers informed and updated on how they can also support their child.
