In order to take proper care of you as a student at the boarding school, we need certain information about your health. Are there any types of food which you cannot or may not eat for medical reasons? If yes, which ones and why not? Note! If you are allergic or intolerant to any foods, it is very important that you write it above!

Tax payers in Denmark - for students under 18 years only Your economic circumstances form the basis for calculating your boarding fee. The school obtains information about parent and student incomes from the Danish tax authorities (SKAT). This is done in accordance with the proclamation concerning the admission of boarding school students §4, 2. Get further information on https://www.retsinformation.dk/Forms/R0710.aspx?id=25207 The school obtains information from the income year that is two years before of the current school year. In the school-year 2018/2019, we need the income detailes from 2016. Other EU/EOS tax payers - for students under 18 years only If you come from another EU/EOS country, you must enclose income details from you and your parents. The information must be issued by the public authorities in your home country which administer income and taxes, and the information must be translated into English by an authorized translator. In the school year 2018/2019 we need the income details from 2016. If you do not provide well-documented information about your income details, the school is entitled to demand full boarding fee. Changes in income If there are considerable changes in your parent´s income e.g. due to long-term unemployment, long-term illness or becoming a pensioner, you can apply to have the fee recalculated based on the new income.

Non-EU/Non-EOS tax payers and all students over 18 For Non-EU/Non-EOS tax payers the boarding fee is per year DKK 39.500 for the school-year 2018/2019.

Note! All information given to Grenaa Gymnasium remains confidential!

Payment for board and lodging is to be made every month in advance, 8 days from the invoice date at the latest. All in all, 10 payments are made in one school year, covering ten months between August and May. All payments to Grenaa Gymnasium must be in DKK. Parents of students who are under 18 at the time of enrolment are obliged to pay the boarding fee until the end of the quarter in which the student turns 18. If the student is expelled, the fee is to be paid for the remainder of the month. Is the payment obligation to be passed on to the student from the first quarter the student has turned 18?

Students have one month´s notice to leave, beginning with the first day of a month after the notice has been given. If you, for example hand in your notice to leave on January 17th, you must pay the boarding fee for the month of Februrary as well. The notice to leave must be given in writing by using a form, which can be obtained at the boarding school office or downloaded from the school website.

A deposit of 1.500 DKK will be required to finalise your admission to the boarding school. When you recieve an offer of admission to the boarding school, you will also recieve information on how to pay and the deadline for payment of the deposit. The deposit is refunded when you vacate the boarding school, and all other financial transactions between you you and Grenaa Gymnasium has been settled.
