A Few Words From Our President

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the American Advertising Fed-

eration - Orlando, I’d like to thank you for attending the 2010 ADDY®

Awards. Founded here in the Fourth District, the ADDY® Awards rep-

resent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of

advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes and entrants

of all levels from anywhere in the world

As the Unifying Voice for Advertising, the American Advertising Fed-

eration protects and promotes the well-being of advertising. We ac-

complish this through a unique, nationally coordinated grassroots network of advertisers,

agencies, media companies, local advertising clubs and college chapters. These efforts

are fueled by the countless hours of volunteer board and committee members, as well as

through various fundraisers are programs, including the ADDY’s.

If you are not currently a member or volunteer, please feel free to contact me or any member

of our Board of Directors to learn how you can benefit from activity within the organization.

One Organization, One Voice

Brett McCoy cut his teeth as a Brand Planner and Senior Account Director. It was through these roles that he gained the knowledge that research is the key to reveal-ing consumer thinking and market insights. He has provided the yin balance to the yang of traditional creative shops during his manage-ment of branding initiatives for the likes of Kraft, Comcast, Time, Inc, Clorox, 3M, Wal-mart, Target, and LucasArts. Brett understands that each Citizen project needs to speak to the right audience in the right way, and he puts this objec-tive in the forefront as he leads all of Citizen’s brand, entertainment and client services.

Jenn Sedlecky began her career at Manheim Advertising in Cleve-land, Ohio, as an assistant broadcast producer/junior copywriter. She then worked as a writer at Wyse Advertising in Cleveland. During her seven years at Wyse, she worked with numerous industries such as cable providers and television net-works, financial institutions, restau-rants, petroleum, and nonprofits. She has written for a wide variety of clients, some of which include Fox Sports Net, Kendall Motor Oil, Lone Star Steakhouse, Marathon, Mead, National City Bank, Rubbermaid, and Sherwin-Williams. She recently joined Liggett-Stashower, Cleveland, OH, as a Senior Copywriter.

Ilan Geva is an international brand-ing expert, who teaches, practices and implements all brand touch-points. He joined Ogilvy & Mather as Design Head and Creative Director in Johannesburg, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Later he held senior cre-ative positions with Leo Burnett and Frankel & Co. (now ARC Worldwide) his other positions were: VP Exec. Creative Director at Kragie/Newell (now Integer) Des Moines, and VP Creative Director at Gage Market-ing, Minneapolis. He currently runs Ilan Geva & Friends, a brand com-munications consultancy in Chicago, and serves as the U.S. Narrator of the European firm brandstory. Ilan is a consultant with Vale International.J

Interviewer: David MackeyBio: Grew up in Winter Park/Orlando. 1st Passion was Soccer. Played my entire life - professionally for 12 years. Now I have taken that tremendously hard work, dedication and professionalism to the Passion I have for Entertainment for the past 17 years; where I have been an Actor, Spokesperson/Host, Model, Voice-Over Talent and Stuntman. Has been in over 750 films, commercial, and print shoots.

Interviewer: Karen LeBlanc Bio: Karen LeBlanc is a spokesmodel and actress who began her on-camera career as a TV News An-chor and journalist working in Louisiana and later in Mexico. Karen left the broadcast news industry to focus full time on acting, and her work as a spokes-model and TV host. She can be seen in numerous TV commercials, videos, and print ads. She continues to exercise her journalism skills as a freelance writer for a variety of clients. My most creative shoot had to be as the butler in a visi-tor cyber-interaction for the Chicago Museum of Sci-ence and Industry. Over the last six months I also ap-peared in shoots for Oticon, Avantas, PUP, Blue Man Group, Barnes and Noble, Florida Hospital, GolfNow.com. and Disney World.

Overton Hooke - Michael Ray Davis Bio: Michael Ray Davis began his career some 20 years ago as a radio DJ and quickly defined the Pe-ter’s Principle. Voice overs, 8 years as a featured extra on “Walker, Texas Ranger”, and many other TV and Film projects later; (most of which can be viewed in his living room) Davis moved from Texas to Florida where he has had starring roles on National Television, principal leads in featured films, and a myriad of com-mercials. Always striving for excellence, Davis’ motto is, and will continue to be “See ya’ at th’ TOP!”

Sterling Winston - Scott J. SmithBio: Scott is a versatile stage & film actor with strong improv skills. His stage experience includes 7 years with the Atlantic Shakespeare Festival and appear-ances with the Backlight Theatre Project. Scott has been seen on HBO’s “Recount” starring Kevin Spacey and Laura Dern, “Daniel’s Lot” featuring Gary Burg-hoff, “America’s Most Wanted,” Discovery Channel’s “The New Detectives,” and regional commercials for Lifestyle Family Fitness, PGA Tour Charities, Design Works Interiors and the State of Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Penny Moore (Receptionist) - Clare GhezziBio: Clare is excited to be a part of the Addy’s this year. Clare has been a member of the Resident En-semble at Art’s Sake Acting Studio since 2005. That last few years she has been concentrating mostly on theatre. Most recently she was seen in PRT’s Summer Shorts, Tony ‘N Tina’s Wedding, The Heidi Chronicles, Play de Luna 2008. Although Clare enjoys theatre she can’t wait to get back in front of the camera. She’s interested in doing commercial, film, TV, Voice Over, etc. So consider her for your next project. Eugene Moore (Elevator Man) - Jarrett RickerBio: Jarrett is finishing up his degree at The Univer-sity of South Florida in Tampa. In May he will grad-uate with his B.A. in Communications with a con-centration Performance Studies. With training and experience in both theatre and film Jarrett intends on moving to LA to further his trade as a screen ac-tor, in hopes of developing a professional name for himself within the industry.

Copy Girl 1 - Amy RogersBio: Since August, Amy has traveled around Florida as co-host of “Eye on Travel” on Dish Network and soon will begin work as the host of the new fitness reality show Excel R 8. She kicked off the new year working as an emcee with Coca-Cola at the Champs Sports Bowl, Capital One Bowl, and Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

Copy Girl 2 - Autumn AlexanderBio: Autumn Alexander has recently been hosting on Daily Buzz. She performs in “Finding Nemo the Musi-cal.” Recent commercial credits Disney Vacation Club, Panda Express, Universal Nissan. She does cartoon voice-overs. She played Stormy, the sidekick in In-spector McCloud. She is a member of Actor’s Equity.

Creatives - Joel WynkoopBio: Joel started in 1984 with a direct to video movie Twisted Illusions. Wynkoop also starred in in-dependent movies Rot, Scary Tales 1 & 2, The Bite, Shaawanookie, Brainjacked, Unexpecting, Stopped Dead, Herscell Gordon Lewis’ The Uh-Oh Show, Post Mortem America 2021,and Strip Club Slasher. Wynkoop has appeared in commercials, shorts, cameo spots and starring roles in other indie pro-ductions. Wynkoop is behind Wynkoop TV which cover events and is home to “The Joel Wynkoop Show.” Joel can be seen on IMDB, Netflix.com, and www.wynkoopptv.com

Creatives - John WeyrickBio: John has been principal in a hundred local com-mercials, 7 nationals, 3 magazine covers, a full page ad in PEOPLE Magazine, and a major brand calen-dar. He is now being seen in movies on cable, (The Touch) and on DVD, (Robodoc, The year of Getting to Know Us, The Bros, and The Oscar Lose Story). He appeared in several stage productions, been a radio DJ and TV announcer, and teaches acting.

Creatives - David O’DonnellBio: David is ecstatic to be a part of the Addy Awards. David has been in Fl. for 3 years most of which has been a member of the performing arts community as an independent writer, actor, and producer. Mostly notably David wrote, produced and acted in his very own sitcom treatment called Downtown Theater. He is very lucky to have been part of many other proj-ects in his time here.

Creatives - Tori ChurchillBio: 28 year career in the business. Character ac-tress, spokesperson, atmosphere performer, fashion and living statue.

Creatives - RJ StallmanBio: R.J. bills herself as “Fifty, Fat & Funny” She just landed a Principal SAG Publix spot as the friendly bakery lady, a global Merck Pharmaceutical print job as the balloon lady and a cameo appearance as the” Over the Hill Bunny” with the late Jeff MacKay, in the film “December”.

Secret Service - Erik SandbergBio: Erik is an accomplished commercial actor spe-cializing on the classic dad, teacher and executive roles. Featured in Polk County Tourism, Disney, Am-scott, Ginn Resorts, as well as on HSN. Other creative projects include live stage, comedy, and voice-overs. His two gorgeous kids, also have been feature in ads such as Bealls and Dillard’s. So if an action guy is needed his hobbies include water sports, motorcy-cles, martial arts, scuba diving, archery and firearms.

Paparazzi - Millie Anne ShipeBio: Millie just closed an extended run of the hilari-ous comedy, “Blithe Spirit,” at The American Stage-in St. Petersburg where she played the quirky maid, Edith. Prior to that she performed at Sea World during the Holiday Season as one of Santa’s elves where she thoroughly enjoyed making children and parents laugh while promoting good manners. She has also been spotted from time to time performing on stage for Disney, film projects (such as Letters to God which opens up in theatres nationwide this April!) and commercials.

Paparazzi - Dawn DavisBio: Born and raised in New Jersey, Dawn came to Orlando through Charlotte, NC and Cleveland, OH. Drawn to the performing arts from an early age, the courage to become a working performer came much later in life - but it came! In addition to the-atre, film and television, Dawn also does voiceover and spokesperson work, as well as promotions, trade shows and conventions. Sales Guy - Tom Elgin Bio: Tom is a full time actor, model and spokesper-son. Since 2007, he has been in over 50 projects including leads, principal and background in over a dozen commercials and infomercials. Tom’s passions beyond acting include martial arts (Aikido- black belt for 17 years), languages (fluent in Spanish) and he’s even made 8 (AFF) Skydives.

Greeters/Awards Girl - Jody McNeilBio: Jody is appearing on HSN live shows for Ab circle Pro with Jennifer Nicole Lee, and have been asked to appear in the infomercials for the newest fitness machine that hasn’t been aired yet but think it will be the latest craze! Recently shot Vermont Teddy Bear valentines commercial, and shot a fitness com-mercial for Pure Protein which will air on national TV in March. Last week I shot a music video for a band in Finland, in St Pete.

Greeters/Awards Girl - Diana LovellBio: I’m Diana, an actress/model, born on the Island of Cape Verde, a mix of Portuguese, African, and Dutch. I was raised and attended college in Boston, moved to New York for 4 years, and now reside in Orlando! In the industry for 7 years and booking jobs! Most recent: Sweetbay Grocery Stores, Hilton, Hotels, Bahamas, Insight Financial, 3M and Disney. I have TELE PROMPTER/ EAR PROMPTER experi-ence and a background singer for numerous artists such as New Edition and Raphael Saadiq. I have hosted conventions and live shows. Life is good and keeps getting better!
