The Mid-Michigan ADDY Awards presentation is a celebration of the creative work that our region has produced over the past year. Presented by the American

Advertising Association, the ADDYs represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types.

This year, over 300 pieces of work were entered in to the Mid-Michigan competition with 178 winners! The number of professional and student entries this year was

the highest in recent history and represents work created for both local and national clients. We hope you enjoy this showcase of wonderful and exceptionally creative

talent in mid-Michigan!

As his title suggests, Jim lends his direction to The Ohlmann Group’s creative department. A copywriter and broadcast producer by

trade, he also helps guide the vision of the Ohlmann Group’s web, print, and other media creative. Through the years, he’s collected

over 100 local, regional, and national advertising awards, including a National ADDY Award and an International Radio and Production

RAP Award. Jim is a two-year Past President and current board member of AAF-Dayton, a Dayton Business Journal “40 under 40”

winner, and he was awarded the prestigious American Advertising Federation Silver Medal in 2009. He’s served on the boards for

The Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio and Better Business Bureau. And once, in a moment of wild abandon, he piloted a blimp.

Peter O’Carroll lives in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He has worked in the advertising profession since 1978, wearing many hats on the

creative and business sides. Peter looks forward to work each day at the O’Carroll Group, where he serves a variety of local, regional

and national clients. Peter is a founding member and multiple past president of AAF–Lake Charles and a past member of the AAF’s

Tenth District Executive Committee. He holds a Master of Journalism degree from Louisiana State University, and often teaches

advertising and public relations courses at McNeese State University in Lake Charles.

Monika has been involved in the advertising industry since graduating from the University of Cincinnati before the millennium. As a

partner in a growing music licensing and marketing firm called The All Night Party, Monika is responsible for working with potential

and current clients to develop outcome-based marketing strategies, provide creative and project supervision, write copy and source

music from the company’s own catalog and library. Outside of work, Monika is the Marketing Chair for the Cincinnati Symphony

Volunteer Association and Vice-Chair of Marketing for the Junior League of Cincinnati.
