PORTLAND, OR Italian High Fashion Shines in PDX Chronicling the evolution of Italian fashion from the end of World War II to today, the exhibition “Italian Style: Fashion Since 1945” is showing at the Portland Art Museum through May 3, in a West Coast exclusive. Italy’s modern fashion industry began as a tale of reinvention, after support from the postwar Marshall Plan allowed the country to start reinvesting in trades.
