Dear Friends,The new Spring-Summer collection 2010 is fruit of my dual personality, that of passionate golfer and passionate lover of beautiful things. This new collection reflects the “Chic-tech” philosophy through a unique scenario of a multiplicity of styles.

This philosophy has always been present in our collections over the years and is realized through garments that have the unmistakable Chervò “look” and an up-to-speed technical awareness, qualities which together will perfectly accompany you on and off the golf-course.Our collection compliments both the life-style and the competitive sports style of today; the roots of which lie in our Italian heritage comprising the famous “dolce vita”, the warm Mediterranean climate, beautiful scenery and infinite pleasures. A land of sea, lakes and mountains, of art, fantastic food and prestigious wines.

And our passion lies on the golf-course; we are lovers of an active lifestyle, of an elegant way of life aspiring to excellence, a passion that understands and reflects the extremely Italian spirit of “Bon Vivant”. And it is to the opulent backdrop of the spectacular Grand Hotel des Iles Borromeès where we are proud to introduce our new “Italian Style” line. Where, through the colours and the refined lines of the new collection we aim to express all the sophistication and perfection of the 1960’s. These were the years of the “dolce vita”, the economic-boom years, the years where international film-stars flocked to the most famous Italian tourist spots which then became immortalized on the screen and these films are now cherished as cult-movies. Inspiration from this eternal epoch is captured in the geometrical and optical patterns, a chromatic match of elegance and stylishness.

Our journey also takes us to the splendid quasi-oriental Villa Crespi where the mood of our Colonial Line is reflected through the nineteenth century oriental journeys of the villa’s owner. The colours for this collection fall into the category of the archaeologists and their dusty temporary camps: their beige and sand-coloured jackets, their pure-white polo-shirts, their military-green, olive-green and brown trousers and skirts, their Bermuda shorts with turn-ups and their shirts with breast-pockets. A nonchalant elegance that takes you straight from the golf-course to the club-house without needing a change of clothes, a style that will never let you down whatever the dress-code be it an informal evening or smart- casual party. Cari Amici,nella mia doppia anima di golfista ed appassionato esteta, ho scelto di presentarvi le nuove collezioni Chervò Spring Summer 2010 in uno scenario unico, che rispecchia nella sua molteplicità di panorami e stili la filosofia “Chic-Tech” che ci contraddistingue.

Una filosofia che da sempre si esprime nella realizzazione di capi dallo stile inconfondibile, tecnicamente all’avanguardia che vi accompagnano nei momenti di impegnativa attività golfistica e di sereno relax. Un modo di intendere l’attività agonistica e il proprio stile di vita che affonda le sue radici nel nostro heritage italiano, patria della dolce vita, terra che giova di un clima mite, di scenari incantevoli e infinti piaceri. Una terra di mare, laghi e montagne, arte, cibo favoloso e vini pregiati.

Ed è nello spettacolare, opulento scenario del Grand Hotel des Iles Borromeès che trova la sua sublimazione la linea Stile Italiano che vuole esprimere attraverso i colori e le linee la raffinatezza degli anni ’60, anni della dolce vita, in pieno dal boom economico, con le località turistiche divenute punto di ritrovo dei protagonisti del mondo dello spettacolo internazionale e immortalato in film divenuti cult movies. L’ispirazione alimentata da questi scenari temporali e culturali approda nelle stampe optical e geometriche, coniugate a cromatismi di grande eleganza e raffinatezza.

Nella splendida cornice orientaleggiante di Villa Crespi si rispecchia il mood della linea Coloniale, quasi un racconto di viaggio di esploratori ottocenteschi. Nei colori della collezione si fondono le immagini dei campi tendati degli archeologi, con le loro giacche beige e sabbia, le polo immacolate, i calzoni e le gonne verde militare, verde oliva e marroni, i bermuda con risvolto, le polo-camicia con taschino. Un invito alla disinvolta eleganza che può scendere dal green senza richiedere cambio d’abito nel rispetto del dress code di un party o di una serata smart casual.

La linea Next Essential trae spunto dalla corrente artistica e creativa del minimalismo, che affonda le sue origini nel design e nell’architettura di cultura giapponese.Un trend creativo che da anni accompagna lo stile Chervò, ma che in questa collezione ha saputo esprimere le soluzioni grafiche e tecnologiche riducendo al minimo l’uso dell’inserto cromatico rendendo il capo unico nella sua semplicità.

Chervò style but has been taken a step further in this collection through graphical and technological solutions which have reduced the use of chromatic inserts to a minimum thus rendering the garments unique in their simplicity.

The Golf-Club Alpino in Stresa which hosted the first Italian Open in 1925 is the spectacular and un-spoilt background for the Green Line collection, a line characterized by “our” colour green and one which we hope will set a standard for the future by respecting the environment and taking office on important environmental issues such as defending nature and the values of living in peace.

Taking this eco-compatible choice into consideration we can see the results in the outfits that have the Eco Safe lable – these garments can be found throughout all the different lines in the new collection. These clothes are made using certified ECOLABLE fibres and more than 40 different aspects of the production cycle have been approved at a minimum environment impact. Furthermore the raw materials used have been treated with such advanced technology that they are absolutely energy-efficient guaranteed , in other words making use of renewable sources at zero impact, hydro efficient and a reduced level of carbon emissions in the surrounding environment .
