Moose live innorthernCanada andAlaska. The areathey live in isforests orswampymarshes. Themoose also livein Russia andparts of Europe.

What’s on the Menu ?

Moose eat tallgrass,shrubs,sedges,horsetail,and pondweeds in thespring. In winterthe moose eatpinecones,willow,birch,andaspen twigs.

Making Tracks

Moose use theirhooves as snowshoes for softpowdery snow inwinter and formoving inswampy areas.Moose migratefrom a few milesto 60 miles!
