My sample size consisted of 80 people from the public.From the statistics i have gained you can see

that most of the 16-18 year olds mainly watch music videos on a platform called YouTube which is

very popular for music artists as they can upload their music videos to that platform for free.The 12-

15 year olds also use YouTube as their main source of watching music videos.Whereas the 26+

year olds statistics show that more of them watch music videos on social media than YouTube.

For this sample i have chosen to ask a fair number for each gender therefore i asked 40 males and

40 females.From this data you can see that more males enjoy rap/grime whereas the females are

more into the pop genre. This can differ between ages for example 13-18 year olds are most likely to

enjoy rap/grime as they are in that rough growing up stage.

What type of music video do you prefer to watch?

For this question i have asked 40 people from the public. From the results i have found out that the most

popular music video type is a mixture of either two types or all three.

These statistics show

that over 60% of the 80

people that we have

asked said that music

videos are important

and only 30% said that

they are not so

important.

From these results we can see

that out of 80 random people

more than half are informed

about new/upcoming music

videos and only a few through

the radio. Out of the 80 people no

one gets informed about new

music videos through TV or

newspapers.
