Advanced IBM Technology– Giant Magneto Resistive Heads advanced high gain head designed to reduce friction. It has

advanced head coating to prevent corrosion and to extend head and tape cartridge life

– Skew Actuator allows dynamic skew adjustment of the head to keep head perpendicular to tape

– Flangeless rollers helps minimize tape edge damage and debris buildup by elimination of the roller

flanges

– Speed Matching reduces the speed of the drive to better match the attached servers ability to stream
