What could you use to help you if you don’t have lolly sticks?

English Focus- To be able to identify and use imperative verbs (bossy verbs). Today we are going to focus on understanding what an imperative verb is and how/when we use them. This week we will be writing a set of instructions on how to catch a dragon. Imperative verbs are used when we write instructions. They are command verbs or bossy verbs. i.e. cut / hammer / stand / sit / stir / chop etc. Watch these links: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oApd0goKJDM What imperative verbs were mentioned in the song? https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zv98jhv Can you find the imperative verb in these sentences?

Topic Focus- To be able to identify different architecture from Ancient Greece. What is architecture? This lesson will focus on different building designs and construction typically linked to Ancient Greece. First let’s look at the different types of building and architecture examples found in the resource section below. Look at the differences and similarities between them. How can we identify Ancient Greek architecture? Follow the link to discover how. https://www.ancient.eu/video/685/metkids--how-can-i-recognize-ancient-greek-archite/ There are three different types of column found in Greek buildings.
