Alumni News Letter
Dear Sigma Pi Zeta- Alpha Chapter
Alumni,
This spring semester at West
Chester has been a very busy one.
Many of the recent brothers from the
fall pledge class (Beta Pi) showed their
skills and hard work in our Chapter’s
quest for excellence.
This spring eleven bids were
extended and all eleven bids were
accepted, due to the hard efforts of
Rush Chair Zach LaSalvia and the rush
committee he oversaw.
Alumni Event Details
On April 11th the eleven new
members will complete their new-
member process. We would like to
extend a warm welcome to all of our

direction.
On April 25th we are having
the alumni softball game and following
that will be a BBQ at the house. The
Alumni Club’s Open Bar at Barnaby’s
will take place from 5pm to 8pm.
Please contact Alumni Chair Cody
Biondi at 908-342-9011 or

For the Veterans
Sigma Pi Zeta Alpha Chapter this semester
successfully did a clothing and canned food
drive for to the Veterans Group. Two days
into the drive, Brother Mike Magee
reached out to the 76ers for assistance.
The 76ers were overly impressed with
how smoothly this event had been planned
out and offered a great deal of help.
Overall it was a successful drive and we
were really happy with the amount of
people who came together to make
donations in honor of our nation’s heroes.
The Veterans were overjoyed to see all of
our Chapter’s hard work. A special thank
you to the three Brothers who successfully
organized this event: Mike Magee,
Dominic Loyle and Chris “Fogel” Simpson.
This Valentines Day our ACE
expert Brother Shane Whelan made
waves on campus by using his charm
on any girl that walked through Sykes
Student Union. Whelan is very artistic
and made a very appealing sign to
draw attention to his table. The table
had Hersey Kisses spelling out Sigma
Pi and was littered with heart-shaped
valentines made by the Brothers of the
Chapter. Each note had a heart felt
message for all the women of our
campus to enjoy.
Blood Drive
On Thursday April 30th
between 12-5pm we will be holding a
blood drive for the American Red
Cross Foundation in the Sykes Student
Union Center ballroom. We plan on
having between 40-50 donors. Brother
Noah Beiter, along with reserving the
ballroom, reserved a table that will be
used to register people for Donate
Life. Donate Life is an organization
that strives to increase the amount of
organ, eye and tissue donors and is one
of our international Philanthropies. If
you would like to donate or know
anyone who would like to donate
please sign up at redscrossblood.org
and use the sponsor code: West
Chester Sigma Pi. If you would like to
sign up to be a donor for donate life
you can register at donatelife.org
