    in ISO/TS 16949:2009

    Approach

    The application of a system of

    processes within an

    organisation,together with the

    identification and interactions ofthese processes, and their

    management to produce the

    desired outcome, can be referred

    to as the process approach.

    In the context of Process

    approach, interactions

    betweenthe processes need

    to be established so thatdesired output could be

    achieved.

    5.3d Quality Policy Top management shall ensure

    that the Quality Policy is

    communicated and understood

    within the organisation.

    Amongthe people of the

    organisation, Quality policy

    need to be communicated

    and understood.

    5.4.1 Quality

    Objectives

    Top management shall ensure

    that quality objectives, including

    those needed to meet

    requirements for product are

    established at relevant functions

    and levels within the

    organisation.

    Each processes defined by

    the organisation has to be

    fixed or determined with

    certain objectives and

    targets. Here within refers

    to the whatever processes

    contained or consists or

    available in the

    organisation.

    5.5.1 Responsibility

    and authority

    Top management shall ensure

    that responsibilities and

    authorities are defined and

    communicated within the

    organisation.

    Among the personnel

    present in the organisation,

    their roles and

    responsibilities has to be

    defined and

    communicated.5.5.3 Internal

    communication

    Top management shall ensure

    that appropriate communication

    processes are established within

    the organisationand that

    communication takes place

    regarding the effectiveness of

    the quality management system.

    Amongthe personnel

    present in the organisation,

    there should be a

    communicationprocess.

    Within the organisation : In common it talks about :

    1. Among the processes, the interactions has to be clear among the people.

    2.

    Among the people available in the organisation should be clear about what their

    organisation Quality policy is.3. Among the people available in the organisation should be clear about what their

    organisation Quality objectives are and their individual process objectives are.

    4. Each one of the organisation member need to be communicated about their roles and

    responsibilities.

    Among the people there should be a proper communication process.

    4.1a General

    requirements

    The organisation shall determine

    the process needed for the quality

    management system and their

    application throughout the

    organisation.

    This is relevant to implementation

    of the QMS which need to be done

    on the entire organisation.

    5.5.2c Managementrepresentative

    Top management shall appoint amember of the organisations

    management who irrespective of

    other responsibilities, shall have

    responsibility and authority that

    includes ensuring the promotion

    of awarenessof customer

    requirements throughout the

    organisation.

    Though the word promotion lookslike communication, the MR

    responsibility is to ensure that the

    customer requirements are

    implemented.

    Hence MR should ensure that the

    personnel involved in the

    organisation are awareabout the

    importance of the customer

    requirements and implementthem.

    6.2.2.4 Employee

    motivation

    and

    empowerment

    The organisation shall have a

    process to motivate employees to

    achieve quality objectives, to

    make continual improvements,

    and to create an environment to

    promote innovation. The process

    shall include the promotion of

    quality and technological

    awareness throughout the

    whole organisation.

    The personnel involved in the

    organisation shall have awareness

    to their quality objectives, to make

    continual improvements, usage of

    technology.

    8.1.2 Knowledge of

    basic

    Statistical

    concepts

    Basic statistical concepts, such as

    variation, control (stability),

    process capability and over-

    adjustment shall be understoodand utilized throughout the

    organisation

    The understandingand usage of

    basic statistical concepts has to be

    demonstrated acrossor the entire

    organisation.

    Throughout the organisation:In common it talks about awareness or understanding and

    ensuring implementation of the requirements across the organisation.

    Summary:

    Communication among the people, Clear

    about their Roles and Responsibilities, Quality

    Policy, Quality Objectives, etc.
