So You’re Invited To Angelsoft

• You’ll be ranked an “Investor” and “Regular User”• Here’s what the email from your admin looks like:

Create your Angelsoft Account

• Click on the link in the email• Create your password, “Submit,” & “Continue”

Here’s Your First Screen• As a new regular user, you’d see this first• Click on My Profile tab (with the green percentage)

• The 2 steps to see deals on this screen are:– Go to the Deal List (top middle tab in light blue with your group’s name)

– Select the “New” or “In Progress” filters at left

• Help the group keep deal momentum (or justify a quick decline)

So Now You’re A Deal Lead

• You have a new list at left, the deal you lead is there

Deal Leadership

• New buttons: “Create Alert,” “Create Event,” “Share,” & “More”– “More” lets you edit Access, Lead, Preferences, and decline/delete the deal

• You also now have Update link in the Status Note bar

• You can also change Deal Stage (right side “NEW” button

• You can also create an event (right side) such as a DD meeting

• Use this for every investment & DD meeting• Habituate members to Angelsoft usage

Create Alerts

• Remind involved members re: tasks, events, news• Maintain deal momentum

Recap

• When members finish their profile: – Group admins can send only items of interest– You get to know each other outside meetings

• When members rate, review & indicate interest level on each deal sheet:– Group admins can advance the deal, or decline it– You will only receive traffic on deals of interest

• When members are deal leads, they can:– Schedule due diligence meetings– Provide updates & reminders– Advance the deal stage and show progress
