Airports are engines of business growth and job creation. Slide 5 Need Florida Aviation System Plan Central Florida Demand/Capacity Study -2004 Based upon projections on demand at the congested airports, it appears that there is a need for a new airport in the region, even if all the committed and potential capacity enhancing projects are undertaken.
