2. General Conditions:(i) No re-allotment requests shall be entertained within a period of one year. Leave taken for 15 days or moreduring this period will not be counted for calculation of one year period for considering requests for re-allotments.Even after completion of 1 year, the re-allotment requests sent without proper channel will also not be entertained.

(ii) Appointment is conditional to the officer's placement/joining in the designated circles 1 unit.(iii) It is the officer's responsibility to send a copy of the charge report on assumption of charge on the promoted

post to SO(SPG), Postal Directorate for information(iv) Officers should be relieved immediately for joining in their promotional post.(v} In case of officer, who is not willing to accept his 1 her promotion, his I her declination letter in writingduly forwarded by the Circle Office should reached the Directorate within 09.01.2017. 4. Vigilance/Disciplinary case if any.In case of any vig.ldisc. case of the type referred to in OM No.22011/2/86-Estt.(A) dated 12.1.88 from

DOP&T circulated vide Directorate's memo No.25-19188-SPG dated 4.5.88 (subsequently) revised vide DOP&TMemo No.22022/4/91-Estt(A) dated 14.9.92 circulated vide Dte Memo No.25-19/88-SPG dated 13.10.92 is pendingagainst the officials, the officials should not be relieved for posting without obtaining specific orders from theDirectorate. The promotion of the official should not be withheld on the mere ground that disciplinary action iscontemplated, except the circumstances when the officer is under suspension or a charge sheet has been issued to theofficial or prosecution for a criminal charge is pending against the official. The official against whom anypunishment is current except censure and recovery of money, they should not be promoted before expiry of currencyof punishment. A report in this regard may be submitted immediately.

5. Probation period.The officials who have been promoted to the Postal Service Group-B will be on probation for two years and

then their suitability to hold this post will be adjudged on completion of two years of probation. If any officialproceeds on leave for a period exceeding 30 days during this period, the probation period will be extended depending

upon the period of leave. .

6. Training.

The official will be directly promoted to PS Group-B cadre without any training for the present. However,they will have to undergo the prescribed training as and when notified by Director, RAKNPA, Ghaziabad.

7. Option for fixation of pay.

If the officer who wishes to give option for choosing date for fixation of pay under FR-22(I)(a)(1) should doso within one month from the date of assumption of charge on promotion.
