Device Registration: 1. The device registration page is available in the URL The user credentials to login to device registration page is User ID: Your Office CSI Facility ID Password: indiapost. 2. On login to the device registration page, the details of already registered devices in that facility id will be available with details such as Postman name, EmployeeID, DeviceID/IMEI number, BeatNo, BatchNo, PinCode and Registered date. 3. To register new Beat into PMA. a) Select the office name from the dropdown list. b) Enter the IMEI number of the mobile device in the deviceIDfield. The device id/ IMEI id will be 15 digits. c) Mobile No: TheMobile No of the postman to be entered d) Postman Name: The Name of the Postman to be entered e) BeatNo-Select the Beat No from the dropdown list. f) BatchNo - Select the Batch No from the dropdown list g) EmployeeID-Provide the employee ID in this field. If the substitute is working in the beat all other fields except Employee ID to be entered. h) After entering all the fields press Submit button. Now a message will be displayed "Inserted successfully". The record is now added successfully. i) To cancel the already entered data before submitting the same, cancel button is available in the bottom right corner of the screen. j) In the left end of each row in the screen delete button is available to delete an entry from the already saved list. On confirming deletion of the entry the record will be deleted and the registration of the device in the PMA portal will be deleted. k) To logout from the page Logout option is available in the top right corner. 1

Device Registration:

1. The device registration page is available in the URL

The user credentials to login to device registration page is

User ID: Your Office CSI Facility ID Password: indiapost.

2. On login to the device registration page, the details of already registered

devices in that facility id will be available with details such as Postman name,

EmployeeID, DeviceID/IMEI number, BeatNo, BatchNo, PinCode and

Registered date.

3. To register new Beat into PMA.

a) Select the office name from the dropdown list.

b) Enter the IMEI number of the mobile device in the deviceIDfield. The device id/ IMEI id will be 15 digits.

c) Mobile No: TheMobile No of the postman to be entered

d) Postman Name: The Name of the Postman to be entered

e) BeatNo-Select the Beat No from the dropdown list.

f) BatchNo - Select the Batch No from the dropdown list

g) EmployeeID-Provide the employee ID in this field. If the substitute is working in the beat all other fields except Employee ID to be entered.

h) After entering all the fields press Submit button. Now a message will be displayed "Inserted successfully". The record is now added successfully.

i) To cancel the already entered data before submitting the same, cancel button is available in the bottom right corner of the screen.

j) In the left end of each row in the screen delete button is available to

delete an entry from the already saved list. On confirming deletion of the

entry the record will be deleted and the registration of the device in the

PMA portal will be deleted.

k) To logout from the page Logout option is available in the top right corner.

PMA App

New PMA App is based on ’Scan and deliver” Principle for capturing actual delivery time, latitude and longitude of delivery and person to whom it is delivered.

As in the existing procedure, the Delivery PA will invoice the articles in

SAP - DPMS and will generate delivery manifest which will be signed and

handed over to Delivery Staff(Postman/ABPM/Substitute) along with articles.

The Delivery staff at the time of delivery should scan the article and capture the

delivery remarks

On logging in PMA app a dialogue box will appear displaying date, time and requesting to confirm Postman Name, Employee ID, Beat No , Batch No , Facility ID displayed there. If the particulars displayed are correct press ' OK, Thanks button’.

Else press ' Change beat ' button. If clicked Change beat button, app will

automatically access data from server and will display details available in the server

against the IMEI number of device/phone being used.From that particulars beat can be selected using ' Select beat ' button provided in the screen.

Eight icons are provided in the Home screen:-

I. Scan and Deliver –Used to scan the article at the time of attempting delivery and to provide delivery / non delivery remarks. An inbuilt scanner is available within the app itself.

Abstract report - Abstract report provides the details of articles according to the delivery/non delivery remark provided.

Articles Not Synced - Will provide details of articles given delivery/non delivery remark but data not synced with Server as on that time.

Article Synced - Will provide details of articles given delivery/non delivery

V. Returns not taken - Will provide details of articles though scanned by Postman but not provided delivery remarks.

Saved List - Will provide details of multiple articles scanned for a single recipient.

Delivery Slip - Delivery Slip of Postman in PDF format can be generated.. Developer log - Provide log of activities done by user in PMA app. To send log 'send log' button is available and to clear log ' clear log ' button is available.

I. SCAN AND DELIVER

Scan and Deliver menu is used to scan the article at the time of attempting delivery and to provide delivery / non delivery remarks.

Steps:-

1. Click ' 'scan & deliver' icon in the home screen. The following screen will appear

2. In case of auto focus is not enabled ( like Samsung J2 mobiles ) and not able to scan article number, please click on the AUTO FOCUS icon once. Necessary pop up will be displayed like “ Close the screen and Re-open”. Please go back of the screen (by using either back button on the top menu of application or back button of mobile) and again come to " Scan & Delivery " screen. Now auto-focus will work and they can see the barcode scanned properly for delivery purpose.

This needs to be done only once and will remain even app is closed and re-open after sometime also.. 2. Scan the article number. Now invoice screen will appear with Article number and category.

3. If the barcode is tampered or unable to scan ,then click "+" symbol in the left bottom corner of scan and deliver screen. The ‘Invoice Form’will be displayedwherein the article number can be manually entered. Select the article type.Four categories of articles are displayed in it. (1) Speed (2) Register (3) eMO (4) Parcel. Select anyone of the category according to the type of the article.

4. Then type addressee name in the addressee column

5. After entering all the details in the screen there are two option

a) NextArticle

b) Take Returns

a) Next Article (for scanning multiple articles and taking single delivery remark for all the articles)

The ' Next Article' button is used to scan multiple articles.

Type addressee name ((Note: It is optional for 'n-1' articles if 'n' number of articles are there; e.g.:- if there are 10 articles to person 'A' provide the name 'A' only in the screen of 10th article. Providing name of addressee before taking returns is mandatory)

If for the last article ( nth

article ) NAME OF ADDRESSEE is not given and BACK button is pressed, proper message will be displayed like..”You have scanned …. Articles. Data will be lost if close scanner. Do you want to close scanner ? Yes or No “If pressed Yes, all articles entered till now will not be saved

b) Take Returns (Same procedure for single or bulk article)

1. Click ' Take returns ' button to provide delivery remark of the article.

2. Next screen will appear. Article Number, Article Type, Name, Delivery Time and GPS Location will be automatically displayed in the screen.

3. Postman has to click Select Remarks option. There are two remarks

For Register Article / Speed / Parcel :

(1) Delivered

(2) Not Delivered

For eMO : (1) Payment Done

(2) Payment Not Done

(1) Delivered / Payment Done

If provided Delivered orPayment Done remarks, Postman will be asked to

select Addressee type Addressee Type are of four categories. (1) Addressee.

(2) Security Personnel (3) Article Receipt Room

(4) Others.

● For all other categories other than Addressee, name of the addressee has to be typed using keypad in the field ' Delivered To. ..'. Delivered To option will be enabled only if pencil symbol at the right end of the field is clicked.

● The recipient signature can be captured in the App.

a. ClickGet Signature

b. Dialogue box will appear enabling recipient to put his signature. Request him to put his signature in the space provided.

c. If the obtained signature has to be deleted due to error or otherwise, click' clear signature' option in the top left corner.

d. To save the obtained signature click the ' save signature ' option in top right corner. The signature will get saved and will be displayed beneath ' Get signature" tab in the remarks screen

e. Now press OKbutton. f. Then confirmation screen will appear. On clicking the ok button a

confirmation screen appears. “Article No... Addressed to. ...(Name of the addressee) Will be marked as delivered. Do you

want to take returns?”Click Yes for taking returns and No for going backto the screen.

Now the delivery remarks have been taken.

(2) Not Delivered or Payment NotDone

1 . On providing ‘Not Delivered orPayment Not Doneselect any one of the remarks shown below

(1 ) Addressee Absent (2) Addressee cannot be located

(3) Addressee left without instructions

(4) Addressee moved

(5) Beat Change

(6) Deceased

(7) Door locked

(8) Insufficient Address

(9) No such person in the address

(1 0) Recalled (1 1 ) Refused

2. On clicking the Non delivery remarks a confirmation screen appears. rticle No... Addressed to. ...(Name of the addressee) Will be

marked as.....(Non delivery remark ). Do you want to take returns?” Click Yes for taking returns and No for going back to the screen.

3. A message will appear “Returns taken for.... (Article No...)"

II. Abstract Report

Abstract report provides the details of articles according to the delivered & Payment Done /non delivery remark provided. The number of articles will be shown in the abstract report against a particular remark. The details of article can be fetched out by clicking on the remarks. The percent share of each remark among the total number of articles scanned and remark taken is also shown in the abstract report

III. Articles not synced

I. Articles not synced menu will provide details of articles given delivery/non delivery remark but data not synced with Server as on that time ( for that date …0000 Hrs to 2400 Hrs)

V. Returns not Taken

Returns not taken menu will provide details of articles though scanned by Postman but not provided delivery remarks. Using the option ‘take returns’available in the screen postman can take the returns of the article and using the trash icon postman can delete the article if it was wrongly scanned

VI. Saved List

If multiple articles are scanned through Next button its details will be available in the Saved List. Saved List Menu will provide details of articles scanned in bulk (more than 1 at a time for an addressee) and details of remarks provided to it. It will also provide information if remark is not provided to the article

VII. Delivery Slip

Delivery Slip of Postman in PDF format can be generated. Delivery slip of any date can be generated by clicking on the date option

It captures the information about the activities in PMA app.
