I am directed to forward herewith a copy of Office Merncrsncum of Ministry of PersonnelPublic Grievances and Pensions (Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare) No. 38/37/2016-P&PW (A) (ii) dated 04-08-2016 on the above mentioned subject for information and necessary action

2 All Pension Disbursing authorities have been authorized vide above O,M.lo paypension//family pension to all pre-2016 pensioners/family pensioners at the revised rates in terms ofPara 4.1 and 5 of the said O.M. without any further authorization from the concerned accountofficer/Head of Office etc. Wherever the age of pensioner/family pension is available on the pensionpayment order, the additional pension/family pension in terms of para 4.4 of the said O.M. may also bepaid by the pension disbursing authorities immediately without any further authorization from theconcerned Account Officer/ Head of Office etc, A suitable entry regarding the revised pension shall berecorded by the pension Disbursing Authorities in both halves of the Pension Payment Order.

3 All Pension Disbursing Authorities should ensure that the revised pension and the arrearsdue to the pensioners in terms of the DoP&PW's O.M. is paid to the pensioners or credited to theiraccount by 31st August, 2016 or before positively
