How to become a Christian1. Admit to God that you have done

2. Acknowledge Jesus Christ as God’s only solution to your condition.“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

What to Pray“Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank you for coming to earth, living an unblemished life, and dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive you as Savior and Lord of everything I do. Make me the kind of person you want me to be.”

What to DoGo to God in prayer daily. Read God’s word daily. Open your life to other Christian friends.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

A Special Meeting is being called on August 7, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss and vote on the proposed terms of dismissal from the Presbyterian Church USA to the Evangelical Covenant Order of Presbyterians as negotiated by the Board of Governors and the Administrative Commission on behalf of the Presbytery of Mackinac, with the final approval pending an affirmative vote of Presbytery on Friday, September 16, 2016 (this is a new date per Presbytery).

Choir Director for a Day! We need someone to direct the volunteer choir at each service. You can do one or both services.. Sign up week by week. Not a commitment for the whole summer. Pick a hymn and sign up in Fellowship Hall. On Sunday, announce the hymn then invite folks to come up to sing. Questions- call the church office. OR … Special Music - If you or one of your summer guests could provide special music (instrumental, vocal, solo, duet, etc.) for one or both services, sign-up in Fellowship Hall.
