the dress!

We know that your Wedding Day will be one of the most special events in your life and have brought

stages and the throughout planning we will offer you invaluable advice which mean you can relax and

“Not only is it a beautiful setting for a wedding, we

were really happy with the location and were impressed

by the staff from the start.

As we were organising the wedding from a distance,

we were pleased that a lot of the details were able to

be organised via e-mail. We also found that they were

happy to be flexible with their packages to make our

day exactly what we wanted.

Most of our immediate family stayed for 2 nights with

us at Cave Castle Hotel, meaning we got to taste the

table d’hôte menu in the restaurant the night before

the wedding. There were 16 of us and we all had lovely

meals. Likewise, the food served during our wedding

reception was beautiful, with lots of compliments from

our guests saying how much they were enjoying the

food (and the day of course)!

I couldn’t possibly list every positive part of our

experience as I’d go on forever, but our day ran so

smoothly, with extremely attentive and helpful staff at

every part of the day.

The Balmoral

The Balmoral Suite was the original ballroom of the Castle, perfect for your ceremony, wedding

breakfast and evening celebrations.

South facing with an abundance of natural light, access to the terrace and overlooking the our

beautiful lake and lawns.

This suite can accommodate up to 110 guests for a formal wedding breakfast, 150 for an evening

buffet and comes equipped with a private bar.

The Sandringham

This elegant suite situated at the heart of the Castle is packed with character making it the perfect

venue for your ceremony and wedding reception.

The Sandringham Suite was originally the courtyard of The Castle and still retains some of the

exterior walls and arches. It will cater up to 130 guests for wedding breakfast and up to 200 guests

for an evening buffet. who can all enjoy the suites private bar.

An Intimate Affair

The Kings RoomThis elegant period room on the first floor can seat up to 20 guests. It has plenty of natural light

with magnificent views of the lawn and our lake. Ideally suited to smaller ceremonies and wedding

breakfast.

The Queens RoomBoasts a panoramic view of the lake and gardens, popular for the intimate wedding ceremony.

The Windsor RestaurantOur Windsor Restaurant has a warm and intimate ambience. Its lends itself to all occasions and

enjoys natural daylight, has wooden beams which blends classical elegance with a modern twist.

We are delighted to offer facilities for Civil Ceremonies at Cave Castle Hotel.

All our banqueting suites are fully licensed which enable us to accommodate Weddings for up to

200 guests providing you with the convenience of holding the entire celebration all under one roof.

Room rates are exclusive of the Registrar Fees:

Monday – Thursday £230

Friday – Sunday £425

The ceremony will be conducted by Registrars in your chosen suite. When booking your ceremony

with us you would also need to contact East Riding of Yorkshire Registrars on 01482 393600.

Please note, their fee is a separate item which you will pay direct to the Registrar’s office.

“From the very first call to enquire about staying in

the hotel, to checking out and paying the bill, the service

from all those who work at Cave Castle, is first class.

The hotel itself is brilliant, ticking all the boxes for a

family break. Beautiful gardens to explore, run wild

in and play hide and seek in along with friendly and

consistently hungry geese and ducks to feed and one

of the most gorgeous and relaxing pools to swim in.

The food was impressive (during our 3 day stay

we enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner) and again

delivered by an impressive team of staff, who made

our 5 and 6 year old feel as welcome as they made me

and my husband. I hope we return soon.“

“We had a wonderful weekend in Cave Castle, which

from the first sight is very impressive, especially for a

foreign traveller looking for history and culture.

As you go through the arched stone gateway into the

grounds you pass a beautiful lake and further on you

see the golf course... A perfect setting for

the Castle and Spa Hotel. Once booked in we were

shown up to our fabulous four poster bedroom.

This hotel sure knows how to set a scene, from the suits

of armour in reception, wooden panelled charming

dining room to the modern swimming pool and spa,

what a perfect setting for a wedding . The staff were

delightful and the a la carte food superb.“
