Monday Read a book for at least 15 minutes at some point in the day. (sheets attached but if you don’t have a printer just answer the questions on paper)

Use your plan from yesterday and write a narrative poem on paper. Remember it needs to have a beginning, middle and end.

Try to use poetic devices in your poem.

Remember: Writing poems is about having fun and experimenting with words so don’t be afraid to make mistakes.

Figurative language is a kind of descriptive language that doesn’t mean what it says literally. For example:

Similes describe something by comparing it to something else, using like or as. For example, the statue was cold as ice. Examples found: ………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
