Hello Members! My year as your Chapter President has come to an end. I cannot thank my 2012 team of members enough. It would not have been a fabulous year without them. Team work is the key and the only key! We have quite a dynamic team of officers for 2013 that have been handed the baton. They are ready willing and able and are planning a fantastic year ahead! The first three months are jammed packed with amazing speakers! Here is a sneak peek: January - International Business consultant Pat Cataldo will discuss “Business Etiquette” and how it relates to the Real Estate industry. February - Punta Gorda Mayor, Bill Albers, will give us a “State of the City” presentation. March - Charlotte County Manager Ray Sandroc will be giving us a “State of the County” presentation. I am so proud to be a part of this wonderful organization. Such uniqueness is felt when surrounded by the Realtors and Business Partners. Knowing that you have the most professional group of people handling a transaction is a comforting feeling. And the transaction turns into a relationship. In this time of the global marketplace and heated competition, business etiquette is a great deal more than using the correct fork for your salad and knowing when and where to place your napkin. Knowing the right thing to do when dealing with people is critical, often making the difference between success and failure. Business Etiquette 101 includes personal introductions, handshakes, meetings, handling business cards, dining, networking, correspondence and more. There is plenty to learn about, what to do – and not do – in a given situation. At its core, Business Etiquette is about people.”
