Oracle Capital Group believes that only through active involvement in the lives of others can a person enrich their own life. As part of this commitment, we have established the Oracle Capital Charitable Foundation to provide active support to a number of organizations and charities, whose missions lie close to our hearts.

It is crucial that we promote and support strong leadership, innovation, personal development and sound governance in all our projects, as we believe these are important factors in powering social change.

We are committed in providing an extensive network of grants to support education, health services and social development projects, intelligently channeling the funds where they are most needed. Our company is a known supporter of the arts and we are very keen to continue that tradition, especially in relation to the talent emerging from the CIS countries.

Close relationships with our Foundation partners ensures the funds are distributed over a wider net of interests and we are all able to share experiences, expertise and common ambitions in achieving the best results. Our donors share our values and passions in promoting positive social development and in giving a helping hand to true talent.

«We were delighted to work with Oracle Capital Group, whose first sponsorship at Wigmore Hall was violinist Maxim Vengerov’s return to the London stage in 2012. It was a landmark event in our calendar and Oracle’s sponsorship was hugely valued».

John Gilhooly,

Director, Wigmore Hall

«The Houghton Revisited exhibition is an important example of successful cultural collaboration between Russia and Britain and is a unique and once-in-a-lifetime project. Oracle Capital Charitable Foundation was delighted to support the unveiling of «Genghis Khan» a monumental sculpture by internationally acclaimed artist, Dashi Namdakov. The Genghis Khan has been placed next to Cumberland Gate, by London’s Marble Arch, and set against a beautiful backdrop of green parkland and open skies. The spectacular bronze statue rises to almost five metres from hoof to helmet and features the great Mongolian leader descending from heaven on horseback.

Namdakov’s triumphant bronze sculpture was specially commissioned for installation in Marble Arch. It depicts Genghis Khan wearing medieval Mongolian armour, with arms outstretched, lost in deep contemplation. The work showcases the artist’s incredible precision and attention to detail through the golden plaques on the livery, scenes of hunting beasts depicted on the armour and the special ‘antique’ patina of the plaited hair. The overall result is a powerful image of the ancient hero of the Mongols who has become part of global civilization.

The Project was launched to encourage people and communities to plant 6 million trees and was delighted to have HRH The Princess Royal as its Patron. It will provide a lasting tribute to Queen Elizabeth II by shaping the landscape of the United Kingdom for generations to come, just as the Queen Elizabeth II’s reign helped shape the political and cultural landscape of the country in the past 60 years.

On February 15th 2012, employees of Oracle Capital Group volunteered their time to plant 1375 trees at Heartwood Forest in Hertfordshire. Within our sponsorship package, part of our donation will be used to have a further 500 trees planted near London and named after Oracle Capital Group.

In recognition of our passionate and continued support for the arts and culture, Oracle Capital Charitable Foundation was delighted to sponsor the first solo exhibition of Alexander Volkov’s work entitled: Alexander Volkov: Of Sand and Silk, which was shown at Christie’s, King Street, London in September 2012.

Alexander Volkov: Of Sand and Silk was a non-selling exhibition showing more than 50 of Volkov’s early works. His art portrays the changes in Central Asia during the first half of the twentieth century as it came under the control of the Russian Empire and, subsequently, the Soviet authorities.

Volkov (1886 – 1957), born in Fergana Valley (now Uzbekistan), is now regarded as one of the most prominent and acclaimed Russian artists of the period. During his lifetime, however, his work was considered ‘ideologically dangerous’ and for the last decade of his life he experienced great hardship, struggling to make a living. Volkov has been reinstated as a leading Russian artist and today his works form part of permanent displays at such prestigious museums as the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the State Russian Museum in St Petersburg and the Karakalpak Museum of Arts in Nukus.

The Royal Academy of Arts was founded by George III in 1768. The 34 founding Members were a group of prominent artists and architects, including Sir Joshua Reynolds and Sir William Chambers, who were determined to achieve professional standing for British art and architecture. They also wanted to provide a venue for exhibitions that would be open to the public and to establish a school of art through which their skills and knowledge could be passed to future generations of practitioners.

Oracle Capital Group is a Corporate Member of the Royal Academy of Arts. Without revenue funding from government, the RA relies on corporate support to sustain not only its exhibitions, learning and architecture programmes, but also the RA Schools. Recent exhibitions have included Byzantium 330–1453; Anish Kapoor RA; The Real Van Gogh: The Artist and His Letters; Degas and the Ballet: Picturing Movement; David Hockney RA: A Bigger Picture; Bronze; and Manet: Portraying Life.
