was 13 days old, and he was six monthsold when he had a nerve graft fromthe back of his calf repositioned bysurgery in St. Louis to regain functionin his hand," his mother said.The first of a series of ongoing

Tara Adams

Tara Adams, Speech-Language Pathologist, recently joined

the Kistler Center staff. She graduated from Arkansas State

University in 2002 where she obtained a Master of

Communication Disorders degree. Tara treated children in

Jonesboro, Arkansas, until she moved to Fort Smith in January

with her husband, B.J. Tara enjoys spending time with family

and friends, reading, scrapbooking, and outdoor activities.

The Michelle Kistler MemorialEndowment Fund

In loving memory of Michelle Kistler, the Board of Directors ofThe Gregory Kistler Treatment Center For Children, Inc., hasestablished an Endowment Fund. This endowment, through itsearnings,will be used to help fund needed therapy to more ofour special children so the Board of Directors can continue thephilosophy of never turning a child away for financial reasons.Additionally, as the Kistler Center’s Board directs, someearnings may be directed to operational activities to sustainand grow the Kistler Center’s ability to provide the most up-to-date occupational therapy, physical therapy, and/or speech-language therapy possible for children. Contributions may bemade as a single gift or spread over several years.

Jeremy Helms

Jeremy Helms, Physical Therapist Assistant, joined the

Kistler Center staff in November. Jeremy, who graduated

from Carl Albert State College in August, 2008, interned at

the Kistler Center while obtaining his degree. Jeremy lives

in Fort Smith with his wife, Alice, and enjoys movies, video

games, and spending time with family and friends.
