The Belfius Bank Audit team is seeking an experienced IT Auditor at expert level who can apply his/her broad IT knowledge and sound business judgment to conduct IT and operational audits in a variety of Banking areas.

As an IT Auditor, you will lead the planning, scoping, execution and reporting of audits, based on identified risks. Audit areas may include identity and access management, datacentre operations, data security and IT operations, as well as Application Systems audits and operational processes.

You must be able to understand complex IT and business processes and identify the full range of risks.

In addition to carrying out various assignments, you must also be comfortable with supervising the audit team for any given task and be accountable for the quality of the final audit report.

You are ready to work on secondment as the IT Audit Domain Manager for global risk reporting, monitoring risks in specific domains, coaching junior auditors, etc.

You must be able to translate risks into business issues, as well as prioritise findings and recommendations. You will also be required to ease the path for multiple stakeholders to agree on appropriate solutions and verify that risks are mitigated appropriately by following up on recommendations.

You must be an excellent writer who can succinctly communicate complicated issues in business terms. You must be a strong project manager capable of conducting your own audits from beginning to end, often managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

University degree with 6+ years of experience in IT and Operations auditing. Knowledge of French or Dutch, plus English is mandatory. Relevant certification (CISA, CISSP, CISM) preferred. Familiarity with COSO, COBIT, ISO and ITIL framework. Practical understanding of relevant regulatory environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will prepare reports and make

presentations to senior management. You will interact with various levels of employees to gather and disseminate information.

Strong analytical skills. Proven history of analysing data and situations to identify meaningful observations.

Knowledge of new and emerging financial products and services, as well as the technology supporting them, including Digital environments.
