Our fleet comprises of Freight liner, Volvo and International trucks with super link trailers. We have GIT (Goods in Transit) cover of R2, 000,000.00. The entire fleet has satellite tracking with fleet management for up to date tracking requirements.

Road Freight

With access to our own fleet of vehicles, Verbena Freight and Logistics is a growing transport service provider in Southern Africa to cargo handling and transportation industries. We operate across the SADC Region for example South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia .

Whether en-route from the point of entry to your premises or our logistics centre or during distribution to end users, your cargo is in modern custom-designed vehicles with full security back up. All our vehicles are monitored with 24/7 satellite tracking.

Our use of modern fuel efficient vehicles gives you economic distribution rates and the elimination of the breakdowns that cause disruption. As a final point, as our premises are access controlled and monitored round the clock even the loading and offloading procedures are carefully scrutinized.

Sea Freight

Thanks to our Strategic Global partnership who have contracts with major shipping lines as, Non Vessel Operating Common Carriers (NVOCC) which means we are a shipment consolidator or freight forwarder who do not own any vessel, but we function as a carrier by issuing our own bills of lading or air waybills and assuming responsibility for the shipments.

We offer weekly full container loads (FCL) services to most destinations around the world including General Purpose, High cube, Flat racks, Open top, Platform and Refrigerated containers.

Should you need to send less than container load shipments (LCL) Our global partners continuously receive shipments at their various hubs in Europe, China, Asia Pacific, Middle East and the Americas. We also offer regular dedicated LCL services to most global destinations and freight forwarding services to some of the toughest to reach parts of the world. Air Freight

Together with our Global Partners we have been developing our air freight experience for more than 10 years now, building great relationships with international carriers around the world. We have also perfected our customer experience to perfection, offering a full, market leading logistics package.

Air Freighting your cargo with Verbena Freight and Logistics will keep goods moving at optimal speed and maximum efficiency along the Supply Chain. We offer an exclusive and highly effective Europe, China, Asia Pacific to Harare consolidation service which is expertly controlled by our UK Partners. And through our sophisticated system we track and trace and update on your shipment 24/7. Our UK Partners have contracts with the world’s major international carriers that secure space on hundreds of flights monthly. Our door-to-door service includes customs clearance and Forwarding to the ultimate destination.

Marine Insurance

Our own in-house insurance is under written. Our Insurers ensure that we can cover loss or damage to goods in transit from warehouse until final destination. The cover is on all risk basis and exclusions include war, natural disaster, wear and tear damage due to dampness.

Customs duties and related costs are a major component of landed costs for most importers. We employ clearance professional who have many years experience. They are supported by the latest computerised systems for speed and guaranteed accuracy and apply the lowest legitimate tariffs to assist you in remaining cost competitive. They are aware of all applicable legislation and procedures and where there is a case for favourable re-classification, they will negotiate with SARS officials on your behalf.

Our customs clearance team has worked with The Zimbabwe, Zambia and Mozambique Inland Revenue departments and as a matter of course, we keep close to the Customs departments to stay abreast of any changes which may affect the duties you pay.
