We have been so blessed this year as we have watched God’s image bearers find creative ways

to share His message. Many thanks to these creative people:

  A family in Indiana who hosted an Answers in Genesis (AiG) event for their entire

community. They had remodeled a building in town for the purpose of ministry. People from

many different churches came out to hear three sessions that were also webcast to another

location;

  A church elder in northeast Ohio who paid our expenses so his church family could hear the

gospel message beginning in Genesis;

  A youth pastor in Pennsylvania who is joining with other youth pastors to bring an Answers in

Genesis conference to the youth of his area;

  One of our supporting churches who is giving a Christmas gift of concentrated prayer to their

missionaries this year. Last weekend, they held a 12-hour prayer vigil for us and their other 11supported missionaries. We were thankful for those prayers since we were traveling to the

Philadelphia area through lots of snow;

  Another supporting church who is sending the Answers magazine to all of their missionaries as

their Christmas gift.

At each of these AiG events, the gospel is clearly presented perhaps in a way people have never

heard before. Jesus is presented not as just a spiritual concept, but as a real person whose physical

linage can be traced back to Adam. It was man‟s sin that brought death and suffering to this world;

it was our creator God Who provided His Son as a „cure‟. Jesus came to suffer and die in our place

and rise again, securing eternal life for those who believe.

We’ve also been blessed to be part of several missionary conferences. Although some people

were not sure at first what Answers in Genesis has to do with missions, they soon realized that the

book of Genesis has everything to do with missions. Because our culture has so radically changed, we

must revolutionize our teaching and witnessing and start with the truths in Genesis, much like

missionaries in other non-Christian cultures. If we do not, the church will continue to lose ground,

and America will become like England where more people attend mosques than the Church of 

England.

Is Answers in Genesis only about evolution and creation? Not at all! On Dec. 1st, plans wereannounced to build a “full-scale Ark, built according to the biblical dimensions and constructed withmaterials and methods as close as possible to those of Noah‟s time.” 

The flood “is one of the best-known historical accounts in the Bible. Independent research has shownthat millions will come to see it, and learn how it and the Flood were real events in history.” 

“The Ark is being built on a beautiful rollingterrain site just off Interstate I-75, about 40interstate miles from the Creation Museum innorthern Kentucky (near Cincinnati). God willingand as the financial support is provided, thisspectacular reminder to the world is planned toopen in the spring of 2014.”

It is because of our supporters that we are able to share the message of Jesus Christ starting with

Genesis in churches who, because of the cost, normally would not have this opportunity. (Your

prayers and support have resulted in over 15,000 ministry-related miles without incident!) Association

leadership in many of these churches feels they need to compromise on Genesis and “millions of 

years”. Those in the pews are thrilled to hear that not only has science NOT proven the earth to be

millions of years old, but that science actually supports the biblical account of creation – they want

to believe the Bible is true. These people welcome the books and videos we provide for further

study.

On a more personal note, we thought we‟d share just

one of the reasons our holiday (and everyday life) is so

enjoyable. Meet Summer and Hannah, our two very

precious granddaughters.
